Hi everyone!
I just had a text saying my case was updated. I checked my email and it said that my card was being produced.
That's 7 days after my surprise biometrics appointment. I hope and pray that everyone gets their happy news this week!
I'll take a break from this stressful process and apply for my naturalization beginning of next year.
I want to thank everyone for their updates that gave me hope even if I wasn't as active compared to my fiance visa or AOS.
Good luck to everyone! I wish you all a happy and abundant future!
-
BTW, USCIS still says Fingerprint review was completed as of May 7, 2018 for my case.
-
I received my 2nd bio-metrics appointment yesterday. The notice was dated on May 24, 2019. Hopefully this is it...
Good luck everyone still waiting and congratulations to those whose ROC journey has ended!

I have a question. My passport just expired last January and I just noticed it after sending in my application. I know it's not a requirement on the i-751 instruction but most people send it anyways and its also on the sample cover letter.
So do I have to renew my passport or it doesn't matter?

Hello fellow VJers! It is nice to be back with this supporting group again.
Good luck to everyone applying!
Filed March 12, 2018 and they received it the next day.

Hi guys!
I just want to give an update on my Status.
I applied for AOS on June 1, 2015 and they received it on the 5th of June. I had 2 RFE because I sent the wrong information twice. (Lucky they gave me a second chance)
Last update for the RFE was September 10, 2015. Sent a few inquiries but they only said that the case was taking longer that usual.
My last inquiry last month, they mailed me a letter stating that my case was moved to Sacramento, CA and that i should have a decision in 30-60 days.
Then I received a text yesterday June 2, that a new card is being ordered and got another update saying that my case was approved without any interview. Thank god.
Waited for 367 days for the decision and I was planning on renewing my EAD/AP next week.
Now time to wait for that card.
For everyone else still waiting, I'm praying for you. Hang in there, it will come eventually.
Thank happy thoughts all the time! Peace and love!

Im also on the same boat. Medical will expire at the end of February and its been 3 months since they received my RFE. I tried sending an inuiry and they replied after a week. They said "Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immration benefits in the order received and in a timely and effecient manner. We regret any inconvenience that results from delays in processing." I hope they finish all June AOS fillers by January.

Hi apple21! Just called the embassy. They said i have to pick up my passport first before i do my medical . I dont need any other documents, just the ones listed.
Now i have to set all my appointments. Waiting wont be hard this time with a set date. I really hope this is it.
-
Hi guys! Its been 1 year and 5 months since i was approved for my K1 Visa and has been in AP since then.
Today i just got an email from the embassy stating that i should schedule for another interview bringing with me a new DS-160 form, New NBI, Medical, Pictures and Passport (Which is already with them)
Anyone experienced a second interview before and how did it go? I just want to ask because i dont want to do a medical again and then wait for a few months and it just gets expired.
It doesnt state in the email that i have to bring all other documents like in the first interview. So I am guessing this finally it? Or do I have to be interviewed all over?
Thanks!

hi a_ saif. my case was updated on November 29.status was turned to ready open case..it was ready for interview for 49 days.
when was ur interview date? how long ur been waiting?
Hi geonval! I know the waiting is very frustrating. But once it is approved and when your passport and documents are still with the embassy, it will be issued. The only problem is the waiting hehehe
I dont know if you're using your phone because you cant see my signature but my interview was on Sept 3, 2013 and it went to AP on Oct 8, 2013. I hope that helps.
-
The reason for your AP is they are doing background checks on you since you were born in Libya and a parent is Libyan. Daily updates mean your case processing is almost near the end. Good luck.
Thank you mellow! That really helps a lot! And congrats on your issued visa!
-
We called the embassy and they said the CO requested a document but hasn't arrived yet.
I was born in Libya by the way and am half Libyan but grew up here in the Philippines with my grandparents.
-
Hi geonval! Still no update on our case.
What we found out is that the CO requested a document last Oct 8. Not from us though.
I wonder what kind of document are they looking for. NSO, NBI would take around a month.
Does anybody have an idea on what other documents they're requesting? Thanks in advance.
Still keeping the patience and prayers for everyone here.
