Hey guys can you please help me to figure it out how to track the dhl packet ?? my case got complete on Feb 10 and i played with around a week dates but result didn't come back anything.

when the NVC received your IV package ?

I was kind of blessed because NVC got my case on Jan 7 and in 10 days, I had completed all their requirements including mailed my documents to NVC. I was free by Jan 17 and never got email for REF.

Wow! That's fast. When is your interview? Did you expedite?

I didn't do anything, just called NVC on 10th and found that my case was completed and forwarded to embassy for interview date and today I got the email from NVC about interview date. Interview is in 21st March.

my case got complete on Feb 10 so now what thing gonna come first ? Interview date or NVC gonna transfer my case to embassy.

guys ...I am married but never filled MARRIED JOINTLY. anyone here who can give me step by step instruction how to do this W-7.
so far what i understood is that ...
*** I have to fill up tax return with my wife's information and keep the SSN blank.
*** fill up W-7 and mail it with supporting documents like 2013 tax return and wife foreign passport notarize copy.
Please let me if i understood anything wrong above.

I would say put the petitioner address(US address) if you don't have the lawyer.

so far what i understood is that
1:) I believe your husband (petitioner) submitted 2012 Tax return and Embassy now want 2013 Tax return at your interview time.
2:) your husband (petitioner) didn't file tax return for the year 2012 and applied for Income tax extension that is kind a permission from IRS to file tax late......He might be submitted Affidavit of support (other person) who will financially support you ....Now embassy want that IRS extension letter that he probably submitted in the behalf of Tax return 2012 and now you husband has to file tax return for 2012.

You can live in any US territory forever. It won't affect you to become a US naturalization citizen.

Yea this is expected behavior. I have seen some cases that got the case number and their fee/forms options got open after 9day later.

am i supposed to file I-864EZ ?? I filled I-130 and applied only for my wife and income coming from one job.....

This is normal behavior, pretty soon you will be able to login.

I would suggestion that your wife should submit Naturalization certificate to the embassy. If you call to NVC, they would delay your case.

They said, case has been approved and sent it to your consulate. Can you please share the thread so I know how to track down.

I am tracking down because there was a typo in the beneficiary address and i emailed them 20days ago and didn't get the reply back. However I called NVC yesterday and they said your case has been forwarded to your embassy. When i asked what is my interview date, they said you will be notified by email. That's why i am trying to track my case.

Does anyone know how to track the case when its transferring to local consulate ? I checked this forum and did whatever it says EXP27JAN2014A on DHL website but couldn't able to find any info. Any new way to track it ???

I would say put Petitioner address.

I had the same status 'in transit' when my petition headed to NVC. I asked phone representative about what is that status mean and he said that mean you will get your case number in few days.

Ummm i think there is a option. i just filled up this morning and put the middle name. Check around the options, you might find out.
