  1. Hey Guys

So here's how my case looks like.

USCIS received my packet on September 30th, 2013.

My Bio-metric appointment is this 9th December

It took them two months because I moved to a different place meanwhile and I didn't inform them. I requested them to look into the matter and they did everything on the phone. A very nice lady ( Indian for sure :) ) called up and did the address change process on phone and I finally got my Bio-metric date as 9th Dec , 2013.

Now my concern is that Since t's been really too delayed. Is that possible that I can just walk-in for a bio-metric? I guess I read in this forum that some of you have done like that. I know the address as it is on my Bio-metric letter. Should i just go on 9th or just go before it ?

Looking at my case, would someone tell me when should I expect to get my EAD and when should I expect to get my Interview date and my GC finally?

I would really appreciate all replies.

    Thanks in advance !!

  2. Thanks X &Z :) !!!

    Hi all,

I got the Receipt Number for my I-485. Does USCIS send different receipt for all four forms? Also , Would I get notified about Bio-metrics on email or through mail ?I sebt my application on 23rd September. It is in the "Acceptance" stage now.

This is what is mentioned on USCIS website :

On September 27, 2013, your fingerprint fee was accepted and we have mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. Your case is being processed at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

    Thanks.

  3. Guys that's scary that UPS can lost EAD as well as GC . My contract just got completed and I am moving to a different place.

I have been working on my paperwork for like almost a month. I will be sending my documents to USCIS most probably tomorrow.

Now if I keep my present address on my form , change my address on USPS and then move to a different place.'

Would there be any problem in receiving my documents ? Reading this post is very scary. I do not have a new address at the place I am moving now but I have friends staying at this place who will let me know of any mails. What do you guys suggest?

  4. Guys ,

I am confused with question number 3 on page 4 and part 5.

    Question # 2 : Yourself : 1

Confused unsure.png with Question # 3 If you are currently married , enter "1" for your spouse ??

I saw an online video and it says answer should be 0 as you have already entered "1" and if you enter 1 it will be counted twice.

    Question #8 : Household Size : 2

I would appreciate any replies. Thanks in advance guys.

  5. HI Friends ,

This questions is regarding the acknowledgement or if any RFE I would receive from USCIS. I have been living at my present address for almost 10 months. But my contract was terminated 2 days back and I will move from this place probably in a week. All my forms are ready.

So my question is there a problem to have my current address as this address on all my forms ? I can change my address on USPS as

my wife's( petitioner) address so any RFE would be directed to her address. I am scared to not get my EAD form or what if I miss it.

    Any suggestion guys?

  8. Hi Friends,

I will be sending out my documents very soon. I was readign a post and the immigrant sent all his work docs like Pay stubs. I do have my approved H1-B docs for three years and all my paystubs.

Should I send all these docs along with my application? Should this come under I-864: Affidavit of Support ? This might help me tp proof that my income will continue even after receiving PR.

    Replies are really appreciated.

    Thanks.
