  1. Hi bro. All you need to do is to follow the instructions which they have provided you in the interview letter.

Also whatever documents they have requested to bring with you, still take every single document which you have already provided to them.specially wedding pics and wedding invitation cards etc.

Also make sure your wife knows where you work, since how long you have been in Usa. Where you live. Who attended the wedding. How many times you have visited her.how was your marriage formed like it was arrange or love . If arrange how your family met each other. When was the first time you met each other means you and your wife. Also they might ask about your finances from your wife like who is supporting you and if you are supporting show some western union receipts.

I will update you if I remember something else.

  2. i think you are right MERC

Yes bro because i had to contact my friend to get the status of my wife AP status, as at the time of her interview Consular told her that you are approved and you will receive the visa within 7 to 10 days . And when i didn't heard anything from embassy i contacted senator and through senator they told me that my wife's case is in AP.

So i was like what the heck !!!!

Then i called my friend to check with his friend what does that mean and even when i contacted DOS they said we don't have any information that your case is in AP.

So then my friend contacted his friend who is FSO (Foreign Service Officer) at UAE Embassy , and told him about my case, he said not to worry about.

Once they have approved and they didn't provided you any AP Form you are good its just some Embassy Level Processing, so no need to worry about that.

which contains Visa processing , getting A Num from USCIS and Printing DOS forms which they have to put into that sealed envelope and etc.

    (REMEMBER NO CHECKS)

He also told that Islamabad embassy have burden of work due to closure of Lahore embassy . So they are taking care all of those cases as well as

    current cases from all categories.

So he said just hold on and wait for few more days no need to worry about ...

    Then i was like Thank God ! : )

Finally after few days we got the news .. Visa Issued.

So just hold on Brother !

Inshallah you will get the good news soon.

  3. Administrative Process (AP) is not just printing of visa and documents as many are issued the same day visa. It's a lot more than that. Its more like a detailed background check and in depth review of facts along with interview answers to determine if the case is genuine. It's different for each person / situation. That's why it takes some people more just a few weeks while other in some cases are on AP for two years.

The detailed one is from DOS amd the one I told you is for embassy level.

I have confirmed this through one of my friend's friend. As he is FSO and works in UAE embassy.

  4. You can find this information on the right side of your screen where you pay the fee.

Please enter the 'A-Number' and 'Case ID' provided to you by the Department of State at the time you were issued your Immigrant Visa. The 'A-Number' you list must be 9 digits in length. If your 'A-Number' is fewer than 9 digits, you must insert the necessary amount of zeros (0) after 'A' and before your number to create a 9 digit entry. For example, provide A000012345 for A12345.Your name must be entered exactly as it appears on the Immigrant Visa in your passport. If you only have one name, please provide it in the space for 'Last Name (Family Name)' and select the 'No First Name' and 'No Middle Name' checkboxes.USCIS will mail your Permanent Resident Card to the mailing address recorded by the Department of State at the time of your immigrant visa interview or as updated by U.S. Customs and Border Protection upon your entry into the United States. You can update your mailing address under the View My Profile section on the main menu.

  6. there is a immigrant data sheet attached to the sealed packet . The Alien number is mentioned there on the top.

Also i have verified my old immigrant visa and its the same registration number what i have on my permanent resident card which is also called green card.

  7. you guys are all wrong. I just talked to the lady at uscis she said its not on the I-130 approval letter. its on the letter of packet that we recieece with the visa. but its a seperate sheet with the a number on it.

also if we dont find that then we can wait when she arrives and they will stamp it in her passport

Yes Usman Bro ! you will find that number on the Visa , if you look on top right of the Visa you will see DOS Number , which is your case number.

and if you look down to that case number you will find registration number , that is your Alien Registration Number.

You just need to add A0 in the start of your registration number.

    for example A012345678.

  8. L37 no need to worry about ! just wait for a month or two and you will get the Visa !
