Thank you. Since the case is just now being put into the system they said I'm not able to give over the beneficiary email today and I will be able to do it tomorrow. I was able to get the IIN #. When I signed in it says that the payment status hasn't been invoiced and I'm assuming its normal as my case is barely getting in now.
When was your case received at NVC?
-
Keep in mind, just because you're living in the same house doesn't necessarily mean you're all in the same household. Unless they claim you as a dependent, then you're not in the same household.
I'd suggest the following:
You - I-864
Main income earner - I-864
Their spouse - I-864A
"Question 7: If you have siblings, parents, or adult children with the same principal residence who are combining their income with yours by submitting Form I-864A, enter the number here."
For me, my parents and I are at the same principal residence. Is that the same as household?
-
When filling the I-864, I have selected to combine my parents' income with mine as we are all part of the same household. Is the I-864A sufficient or do they need a separate I-864? My income alone should be enough, but just to be on the safe side, planning on combining the household income. Thanks in advance for the help!

I'm praying we get case number this week. I-130 approval 12/23, Nebraska service center shipped this to NVC on 12/27, NVC received this case and being put in their system on 1/13... Currently been 14 business counting MLK holiday. So considering 10-20 business days for case number assignment this upcoming week should be the week! I'm declaring that right now. Anyone in our same shoes with these similar dates?
Same here..No case number yet.

I have filled out and I-864. I am also planning on having my parents as joint sponsors. Do they both need an I-864, and an I-864A? My parents jointly file their tax returns, do they both need a separate form?

Case was approved on 12/23/2013.
Sent to NVC per status on USCIS: 12/30/2013
NVC received: 01/13/2014
Just finished the call with NVC. They received the file today. Any idea how long before Case number and IIN are assigned?

Is PCC, Passport Clearance certificate or Police Clearance Certificate?
What is required in the IV package, the Police Clearance Certificate or the Passport Clearance?
Is it also called PVC? Police Verification Certificate???
This is the only thing I am bit confused about. Which needs to be sent to the NVC in the IV package and which is brought at the interview? If anyone has already reached this step, please clarify?
-
I received my approval on Dec 23, 2013. Today I got an email from USCIS saying, On December 30, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.
Does it reach NVC 2 weeks from the approval date or the shipped date?
For other users, what are your experiences after receiving such notices?
Thanks in advance!

Just got an email, "On December 20, 2013 your alien registration number has been....."
From reading previous posts, this may be a good sign.

Looks like they updated the processing times just a few hours ago.

That's quite a delay in getting your hard copy letter. I got transferred on the same day to Nebraska, and got my letter in the mail a few days later.
The post mark on the letter was also for 11/07/2013. I am guessing post office probably screwed up.

PD: March 04, 2013. I called yesterday, Nov 06, 2013 at 4 PM EST, tier 2 said case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center while the status online stil had not changed. At 7 PM, got an email of the transfer notice and status online had changed. Today, November 07, 2013, the case has been transferred to local office. Does the case really go from NBC-NSC-Local office? I am guessing not, could be an automated system.
"On November 7, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing."
-
Sorry, I just realized I shouldn't have posted on this thread about the transfer to NSC, my category is IR/CR.

PD is March 04, 2013. I just called USCIS and spoke to tier 2 and they said, "As of today, your file is being transferred to the Nebraska Service Center." The case status online has not changed and it still says Initial reveiw, "your case was received on March 4..............................................."

-
Went for an infopass appointment today (Newark field office). Told me my file was "touched" on 10/16/2013. I had called on 10/18, Tier 2 told me the same thing, I called again on 10/28, they said no such information existed but officer at the field office today said it was indeed "touched" on 10/16.
PD is 03/04/2013, still at NBC.

My PD of March 4 still at NBC, initial review stage

If you do some searches on uscis case status..receipt numbers MSC13907116XX, you will see cases being transferred with today's date. Btw, these were all March 4 PD.
