A july filer got approval yesterday. I need transfers or approvals badly for august filers.

I think it may be a possibility - I read something on the April or May thread about their petition being transferred back from NSC to NBC... so maybe they're going to actually start processing petitions at NBC now!

I wish it was true.. I prefer approvals rather transferring here n there. Pls NBC start adjudicating petitions

Any chances of getting approvals without transferring for august filers?

Few cases that I mentioned a couple days back

Aug 03 and 04 were weekend days so they will charge on Aug 05 and 06 today (Jan 28) I guess..

Dude.. all the way upto MSC1391607224 are transferred..

Although, July has 31 days

So august transfers started or yet to start?

I could see the transfers of MSC1391607001 & 2 , happened today Jan 22nd. I suspects these files are from august. I keep checking it with diff numbers. they says transferred. Dont know i may be right or wrong.

The employer where he works offered a H1B visa for a onshore project. She jus want to get H1B before getting H4 or converting H4 into H1B after getting H4

can you explain? Has an employer but has to search for job?

Currently she is working in IT MNC , going to quit the job in next month coz of her move to USA. She wont be having an employer by the time she flies. She cant work in US as a dependent. So she is now trying to see if she can get H1B or convert H4 into H1B .

Hi VJ Friends. I am not active in postings but I wil be online on VJ all time to read people discussions. But now I am seeking for your advice.

One of my friend has got married and they have a kid now. Both are from india. Her husband is working in Arizona,USA on H1B Visa. Currently My friend n her kid are in India and she is working in IT. Now she is planning to move to US to live with her husband on H4 visa. She is trying to see if she can work in US on H1B but her H4 visa is currently on progress. She will be quitting the current job in a couple of months and moving to US.

Now my question is whats the procedure to convert the visa type from H4 into H1B.

I am indian wife to a USC husband. so I think i can help u out in this stuff.

U and ur wife have to fill out the g325a seperately. In your form, U will have to mention all ur residence and employment for last 5 years and the same for ur wife on her form.

My husband and I spent only 9 days during wedding. This was our first and recent meet. So i jus mentioned " We have not lived together yet" in that particular field. Since we dont have a particular address at we lived. He landed in his grandparents home in india and we got married, later he flew off. no long stay so i think you are in the same situation. So u jus put like i did.

Does anyone know if police clearance is needed from last 5 years residence or just the local office?

The below link says to get passport clearance from local office. My wife lived in 3 different states within last 5 years. I want to know if she will have to get clearance from all three states.

Hi. India matters. States does not matters. So no need to get PCC from all 3 diff states. Jus apply for PCC at the passport office where your wife's passport has been issued. Make sure if your wife is currently living in the address(which has been mentioned in visa papers and the same in the passport). If your wife living in the diff address(which has been mentioned in the visa papers) from the one which s in passport, You should change the address in passport ( by applying passport reissue). In that case, They will make u wait for completing the police enquiry on that particular address, it may take 30 to 60 days to issue the PCC.

My case,, My address in the passport and the address i mentioned in the visa papers are the same. So i jus got a PCC from where my passport has been issued. Police enquiry has done when i applied passport. So It was so easy to get PCC.

Note: I have lived in 2 different Districts in the same state(Tamilnadu). But that doesnot matter.
