AHHH, Yes Yordak I never thought of that! I only need to rely on one but the file jointly on the 1040. I told the to just fill out two seperate forms just to be safe. But, could they just both sign the I-134?

If my co-sponsor is using their 1040’s and the have a spouse’s signature on them does that mean that this person will also need to submit an I-134? If so this would mean that together they would be filing TWO complete identical sets?

No, this is needed only for the interview itself. It would not be advisable to collect info now for this because you may need more current info.

Could someone please clarify to me what is meant by “touched” ? We received NOA2 on 5-29-06 and found our interview date posted online for July 20th Will both my fiancée and I receive another pack in the mail? If so will I need to mail anything back because I am not in the US at this time. I am currently in Russia giving support to my fiancée?

Yes, but it will take some time to find all the correct dates. I can tell you that we filed in Feb 06 and she has interview in Moscow on July 20th. We have no prob's as of yet and dont intend to !!!! ;-)

This is only one in a list of items you will need. More important will be the proof that you have met each other, photo’s, plane tickets…..! I did not produce any copies of phone bills and had no problems.

How will she be notified of approval or denial as she will not be at her home during this interview process?

How long after the K-1 interview does it typically take to receive your visa? Providing that everything is in proper order! Do they mail this to my fiancee's home or can she pick this up?

Do I need to show supporting evidence for real estate that I list on form I-134? I havnt read anywhere if this is needed only the value and address.

As long as all the pages are copied and ledgable the quality of the photo shouldnt matter..

Walgreens has a great program for passport photo's. Just bring it in on a disc or sd card and they print and cut to correct size.. If you use Walmart you will have to cut and center it on your own.

My co-sponsor is retired and would like to know which supporting financial documents will be required with the I-134 for a retired person? He is not totally comfortable with surrendering all that is listed on the form. I know the more we can submit the better but I also understand his concern. Would he need to submit his 1040’s from the past 2 years? Also I am correct that I read somewhere you need to show only 100% over poverty for the I-134 and 125% for the I-864?

Yes, Yes Yordak thank you but I thought that the K-1 was only to let the person into the US for marrige ONLY. Then after IF you file to adjust your status you must prove that you will not become puplic charge and submit form I-864. So what if my fiancee is only comming to the US for marrige. I guess we would have to prove that to the officer. I found this on the Moscow embassy site.

"Financial documents from the petitioner - a US citizen: please note, that Affidavit of Support (form I-134) is not required, but may be requested."

I e-mailed them and their reply was this "We recommend to provide it"

I guess my point om this issue is Yordak that they should just state that it is required. This whole process is a big enough pain as it is. I have never worked so hard for a women in my life!! HA ha, It will be all worth it in the end. Thanks again for your input Yordak maybe you can help again in the future.
