Hi Kisturia. I am also a Dec filer. Sent my AOS Dec 19 and recieved 3 envelopes with I130, I765 and I485 Jan 9,2014 notice of reciept through the National Benefits Center in Missouri. We sent from Phoenix, AZ. I have been out of work since November 2013 and loss of income is a big financial problem right now with 3 young boys and my husband just working its a big burden.

My biometrics is scheduled for Feb 02. I want to start working soon as I have a job pending. I am from Canada married to US citizen with 3 US born children. I noticed you got your EAD fairly quickly! What steps did you take to get it that fast! Any advice would be so appreciated.

I think you need to undergo biometrix 1st before they can process EAD.. if u really need it so bad.. try to have a walk in..

yes, sometimes they are too busy and can't accept walk in. You are doing the right thing by staying busy...time will fly by and your scheduled date will be here very soon. Good luck in your nursing assistant program!

P.s.: I will be applying for a nursing assistant program too as a pre requirement for nursing school

Thank you.. i will be going to a nursing program too... but nursing assistant is not a pre-requisite.. waiting list for nursing program takes a year thats why i enrolled 1st as a nursing assistant enable me to have this kind job while waiting also. Goodluck and Godbless too

i go to USCIS Detroit yesterday for a walk in biometrix.. the staff were so nice but they not allow me to have a walk in. I understand them since there are a lot of schedule have been cancelled because of the holidays and gosh a lot of people done their biometrix yesterday.... i guese i need to wait to my original schedule which is january 29..

And im glad i already enrolled at American Redcross for the nursing assistant program... well it will makes me busy while waiting for my biometrix and the rest of the process...

my guess is probably no....I am currently on H1B doing AOS via marraige. I am currently working for a state entity as a contract employee they made me go through the same federal checks before joining. You might want to check with your school/hospital if they allow you.

Hi got my Biometrix appointment today... my schedule is jan 29, 2014.. i want to enroll next week in a certified nursing assistant class... the school require me to have a fingerprinting in the federal that charged 60$....my question is since we already paid our biometrix in the uscis, can i use the uscis biometrix to send my criminal background to the school..im confused i dont want to waste money for another federal finger printing..

2GO just said "In-transit" then Shipment accepted by customer then back to In-transit. Ustraveldocs switched to "out for delivery." Mind you, there were results the last three weeks at these sites (interview approved 8/27), but CEAC has been there with Ready, AP, Issued for the last few days. Then got an email from ustraveldocs that the packet is being delivered.

Hope we'll be right there behind you guys.

my medical is last sept. 2 and i met a filipina there name shiela her interview date is oct. 21 the same a yours.. and she passed and only wait for her interview.. she is so nice...she is also Bisaya... hope u can meet her and her children during your interview

My interview is on october 21 and i decided to go do my medical on September 18. Something wrong with the dates? is it too early from my interview date? They require atleast 1 week before the interview, now im a month ahead of that. Is this fine? i have booked my ticket from cebu to manila. bound for manila tomorrow. Please help me... thanks.

I heard five couple stayed there and all five gave it a one star rating. If you add add those stars up it's a five star rating. I think I am starting to understand how your math and calculations work.

You know, all your little abrasive comments are just going to burn bridges with people on this forum. You already have with some who have REALLY helped a LOT of people. hello.. nope... if u want to go to morning session which is 9am to 12pm.. you can go as early as 6 am... im in the afternoon session... i go there 12pm... in 2pm-5pm session...

Here is where I am getting confused Hank, let me say this, I am a very black and white type personality.

So when I read the following : "The Immigrant Visa Unit only accepts K visa applicants (K1, K2, K3, and K4) who have completed DS-156, DS-156K (for K1 applicants only), DS-157, and DS-230 application forms."

I read it as this, since you are going to the interview WITH completed DS-156, DS-156K, DS-157, and DS-230, then you are required to complete the DS-260.

You see it does not say anything like if they have been completed, received, and filed prior to the date of your interview.

See where my confusion is coming in?

hey..i told u..why keep u confusing yourself... ive been to the latest interview.,....dont stress yourself... they only need DS156..DS157 and DS156K...

they dont even need the DS230!!!!!!

The other reason it only lasted 2 minutes was because they only allocate 3 minutes for each interview (serious)

but based on sept11 interview most of them... take 10 minutes,,,, (seriously)
