Hey guys, I'm going to apply for Citizenship this week, I'm just waiting for my AR11 to go through as I had forgotten to notify of my address change since 2 years ago, apparently it's not that big of a deal but it's still worrisome, I could've sworn I did it but my USCIS doesn't show my profile with the current address so I submitted it just in case, also couldn't find any confirmation emails.
Ok, so long story short I got a speeding ticket (speed greater than 65mph) and 2 other correctable infractions (tint and registration sticker which was up to date but peeled/stolen), everything has been corrected with proof and paid in full (traffic school was completed to avoid insurance issues by having the point hidden), total paid was under $500 (around $480) BUT before infractions were corrected the total cost of the ticket was $800+ if that matters; This is the only time I've ever received a ticket in my life, other than that my record is clean, I was pretty bummed out about my perfect record being thrown out the window, but that's on me.
I need to know if I'm putting the answers correctly for this:
Have you ever committed a crime (or helped, tried to commit a crime, or asked someone to commit a crime) for which you were NOT arrested?
-NO
Have you ever been given a ticket for a traffic or moving violation, while riding on public transportation, or for violating public property rules? Do NOT include parking tickets.
-YES (traffic violation)
Have you ever been arrested, cited, detained, or confined by any law enforcement officer, military official (in the U.S. elsewhere), or immigration official?
-YES (ticket = citation as far as I understand)
Have you ever been charged with a crime or offense?
-NO
Have you ever been put on probation or parole or received a suspended sentence?
-NO
Have you ever been stopped or questioned by any law enforcement officer?
-YES (I had to be stopped for them to give me the ticket)
I'm also curious about this one:
"I give permission to share the information in this application and USCIS systems with SSA so they can update my immigration status and send me a new card. "
My SSN card was given along with my green card after my i-30 was approved, it doesn't have the "valid for work only with DHS authorization" stamp, should I click Yes still?
Thanks for your help!
