  1. I also want to point out this from the N400 (Page 20), where it indicates: "Crimes and Offenses Evidence: If any of the required records listed below are unavailable, provide original or certified confirmation that the record is not available from the applicable law enforcement agency or court. Note that unless a traffic incident was alcohol or drug related, led to an arrest, or seriously injured another person, you do not need to submit documentation of traffic incidents." This part confuses me in relation to the above questions, I was cited and stopped, not drug, alcohol or injury related, logic would dictate I don't need to select yes because it was a speeding infraction without the previous clauses... I hate how confusing they are with these things.
  2. Hey guys, I'm going to apply for Citizenship this week, I'm just waiting for my AR11 to go through as I had forgotten to notify of my address change since 2 years ago, apparently it's not that big of a deal but it's still worrisome, I could've sworn I did it but my USCIS doesn't show my profile with the current address so I submitted it just in case, also couldn't find any confirmation emails. Ok, so long story short I got a speeding ticket (speed greater than 65mph) and 2 other correctable infractions (tint and registration sticker which was up to date but peeled/stolen), everything has been corrected with proof and paid in full (traffic school was completed to avoid insurance issues by having the point hidden), total paid was under $500 (around $480) BUT before infractions were corrected the total cost of the ticket was $800+ if that matters; This is the only time I've ever received a ticket in my life, other than that my record is clean, I was pretty bummed out about my perfect record being thrown out the window, but that's on me. I need to know if I'm putting the answers correctly for this: Have you ever committed a crime (or helped, tried to commit a crime, or asked someone to commit a crime) for which you were NOT arrested? -NO Have you ever been given a ticket for a traffic or moving violation, while riding on public transportation, or for violating public property rules? Do NOT include parking tickets. -YES (traffic violation) Have you ever been arrested, cited, detained, or confined by any law enforcement officer, military official (in the U.S. elsewhere), or immigration official? -YES (ticket = citation as far as I understand) Have you ever been charged with a crime or offense? -NO Have you ever been put on probation or parole or received a suspended sentence? -NO Have you ever been stopped or questioned by any law enforcement officer? -YES (I had to be stopped for them to give me the ticket) I'm also curious about this one: "I give permission to share the information in this application and USCIS systems with SSA so they can update my immigration status and send me a new card. " My SSN card was given along with my green card after my i-30 was approved, it doesn't have the "valid for work only with DHS authorization" stamp, should I click Yes still? Thanks for your help!
  3. Hi everyone, as of April I have 5 years as a permanent resident and can apply for Citizenship, I noticed I apply for the reduced fee since I earn about $47K a year and I'm single without kids/dependents, however here's my issue: I rent a room at one of our family's friends and have done so since 2022 since it's helping me a bunch to save a down-payment for a house, will this be a problem since it's the entire household that gets counted towards the poverty line, or does it not matter since I'm the ONLY member of my family here? We're not related and we don't have the same last names or remotely similar. I was thinking of just sending my W-2's from 2022 until 2024 which show this address, would that be sufficient as evidence? Should I send copies of my car insurance and cell phone as well? Job letter? I'm a bit lost here so I do thank you for your time!
