Your extension expires one year from the expiry of your green card, not the receipt date of the I-751.  I'm assuming your card expired in June 2016?  I would make the Infopass appointment 30 days before the extension expires this year, as several threads on here say 30 days is the earliest they could get the stamp.  Of course, you might get approved before then!

You'll be fine - we moved 3 times and never sent the I-865 in, until I was told by an immigration attorney to do the form (we had contacted him for help on a new employer getting confused on the I-9 certification for a person pending under ROC).  We sent the I-865 in almost 5 months after moving to our last address, and never sent one in for the other 2 moves, and never got a bill.  I'd be curious to know under what circumstances they might impose the penalty, possibly only if it gets to some type of court case or if they are trying to deport?

Hi, we live in Victoria too and had our police check done without any hassle.
There is another thread on this site that details what you need to do - go to the Victoria Police website and search for national police check.
You WILL need to do the full check of name and fingerprints - the US Consulate in Sydney will not accept name check only.
There are several police stations throughout VIC that will do the fingerprints. You should not be charged for this - you just book the appointment via the one phone number at your preferred station, then go and they will do the prints and give you a fingerprint card.
To make an appointment to have your fingerprints taken, telephone 1300 881 596 between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
They may ask if you are needing to do the LiveScan or hard copy - tell them the hard copy. Otherwise they will get all confused, then call AFP and try to tell you that you need to do it through AFP. Note, your experience may vary - some of the Melbourne locations are a bit more savvy and may be fine doing LiveScan, but when you say it's for a US visa, they may say you need to submit via AFP. This is NOT true - they are confusing that with requirements for those applying for an Australian permanent residency visa, or with overseas applicants sending in visa applications to Australia.
You also should have filled out and printed a copy of the Victorian application, which the police officer can sign with you.
Then just mail the application form, your payment (a bank cheque) for AUD$144.00, and your fingerprint card. You will then get the result posted to you - ours came in only about 2 weeks, so was pretty fast.
We got lots of different opinions and confusion from the police about this, so just thank anyone who tells you otherwise and proceed with the above steps, and you will be fine!

Is the website to go to.

rjbntsk got a reaction from PerditaD in Serious CSC Delay For NVC
I've seen on other threads that it can take 10-20 days to get files actually sent out of NVC, especially with the recent backlog that seems to have developed.
You're correct in noting that some seem to go through quite quickly, so it seems to be luck of the draw as to who gets the deluxe express treatment!
Hang in there - at least you know they have it, so your turn will come very soon!

Wow - our turn, just got the email that our petition was approved - NOA2 in only 61 days!
Now on to the next step!
Good luck to everyone else - looks like the decisions are coming fast!
