You both have to fill out i864. One for you and one for your husband. 
You will select 1A on your form and your husband will select 1D on his form. 

Oh that is right, for anyone helping that is not a household member they must file I-864. My father is my household member as we are joint family, so I filed I-864 and he filed I-864a as a household member. Good luck

Mumbai embassy sent out an automated email to all the CR-1 interviews saying the interview from Sept 9th was moved to Sept 10th. They called my wife on 9th afternoon asking why she didnt show up for the interview. They said there is some glitch in their system.
They didnt really ask her many questions. They probably had all the CR1s from 9th and 10th so perhaps they tried to get through them quickly.

I do believe the info for ELIS is on the visa package. When my husband gets home on Monday with the visa package and his passport I'll be paying it. He's not tech savvy, so we won't be able to post pics, I'll try to do it on Friday when I get there (if I remember)!

Glad to help. Also, it will only cost around 6000rs, don't believe the website which says you need like 15krs, but it's better to take it just in case.

She had to get the full medical done and it still only took 1 day. You need to get an appointment, but they generally take you in the next day. Hope this helps someone in the future.

That's exactly what it is, they're automated and they're on a delay. It took a week to get my Case Complete e-mail and I got it at 1:00 in the morning, they were not working at 1am.
People want to believe they're working OT maybe because it gives them hope that things will move faster, but when it doesn't, they'll be even more depressed about it. The rumor will never die, if that's what people want to believe, whatever.

My Interview scheduled for September 9, 2014 they said (NVC) I will get email within next 5 days.

Yeah, if you read through my posts last month, you'll see that I had luck with one of my Senator's reps last month, and I am almost positive that's why I got the IV invoice so quickly.
Also, this thread is not a race to the bottom. We are not here to win an award for worst NVC experience ever, all of us are suffering.

Finally... CC as of July 30th. Scan date was June 13th.
47 days just to leaf through a few pages!!! I'm not a happy camper at all. I didn't feel this infuriated and drained even after a 13-month AP back in 2008.

The agent told my wife that they are booking September interviews.
We are off to Cuba for vacation on this Saturday. It will be less stressful vacation now:)
