  1. if ur 751 was aproved u are ok my brother, same happened to me, my wife now says she will call USCIS to say our marriage was fake and she wants a divorce, but she dont know i have my 10 yr GC and they just sent it a month ago, so dont worry about it, my wife is mad couse i dont give her money that i dont have, we were together for 4 yrs and she left me, so now she just wants my $$, good luck man,

I would like to respond to this. Currently there are many petitions going on out there regarding marriage fraud and the govt is beginning to wake up and can revoke a 10 year card with proof of marriage fraud. There are immigration investigators out there and also attorney's who take t his to court and sue the party who scammed the green card. I wouldn't be so confident because one gets a 10 year card. Until one is a U.S. citizen, anything can change. There are very powerful people out there. Anything can change as it is happening now.

  2. It's been a long haul. My husband has been in this country 3 years as of August, 2009. He just got his green card a few days ago after two interviews! They approved the I485 but the I130 is still showing pending. We have never gotten a letter stating it's been approved and no more investigation. He got his welcome letter, his I485 approval letter, his green card but I nor my husband have ever gotten an approval letter for the I130. I'm scared to call, might make them rescind on the I485, lol! Anyway, I'm wondering also if we need this approval letter when he applies for citizenship down the road. Everyone else, even the ones I know that have been waiting out this long FBI name check process have gotten the letter stating the I130's been approved. How important is this? Do you think they approved the I485 while he waits out a longer investigation. I know 60 days ago I received a letter from Chicago stating they were still pending investigation on the I130 that has been going on since April, 2006. I also read that the USCIS would go ahead and approve I485's while waiting for the FBI name checks and if something came up, they would rescind the card and proceed with deportation. Kind of scarey. Not sure what to do. Any suggestions? Thanks ahead of time.

  3. I'm not getting into the big story but just want to say that finally my husband must be out of FBI name check. We are schedule for his 2nd interview on October 8, 2008. We had an interview on the AOS on September 5, 2007 but it was not approved pending investigation. They contacted us by letter this week and set the date. This is it! Going with attorney this time also! So they are finally processing those in name check for 2-4 years. Yeah!

  5. Well thank God I did the K3 3 years ago otherwise my husband would still be in his country! My husband entered the USA in August, 2006 on the K3. His I130 went under investigation April, 2006. We had our AOS interview on September 5, 2007 and still no green card. 5 months after the interview, we finally got a letter stating they wanted a new medical. My husband did just that and it was sent to the officer at the Chicago location. Then we didn't hear anything for quite some time and i notified the Senators office and also USCIS. We got a letter that the investigation has been delayed and will continue and if we don't hear anything from them in 6 months, contact them again. Ok. I read on the USCIS site that they have gotten together with the FBI to aid in releasing names they've held up for quite sometime. I guess we might be July since that would be names held for 2 or more years. But then I thought I read somewhere, the FBI came up with another computer glitch and it might not be until November that they will move on releasing names again. I don't k now, aggravating. Anyone got any information on this FBI name check procedure?

    Thanks ahead of time,

    Andrea

  6. Jackie, thank you so much for calling me this morning. I wish I had known sooner but then what for, she's gone and will be missed terribly. :crying::crying::crying: You can count me on the flowers and I await the link to send the money.

I pray that her family is comforted by God and all his angels at this time and that her husband be comforted too and that he knows in his heart he is not responsible for this tragic accident. I hope he recovers and knows that all of us here who love and loved Dawn love him too!

May God Bless Them All Eternity!

  8. It will 4 weeks coming this wed and no answer yet whether the AOS interview was approved and just waiting for the I130 to be approved after investigation is completed. I will maybe call them this week so they can tell me they have no news and that I have to give it another 30 days. At least they can shoot and email over to the CSC regarding the I130 and maybe Chicago for the AOS. I know they did once for the I130 and I got a letter in the mail stating that they delayed processing the I130 due to standard investgation. Senators office said the same thing, coz i contacted them and they looked into it. Anyway, that's the story so far. My husband will be traveling on his K3 so when he returns, I told him nothing changes regarding immigrations at the airport. Just make sure you answer their questions right.

  9. An AOS application that is only four months old is hardly ripe enough to be considered 'caught in namecheck'.

They aren't passing out drive-thru greencards just yet, you know.

Is two weeks after the interview and no word on it normal, though?

Well now it's 3 weeks and no answer. Going on the 4th.

An AOS application that is only four months old is hardly ripe enough to be considered 'caught in namecheck'.

Maybe not, but he's been in investigation since April, 2006 under the I130. This also effects the AOS interview, you know. Oh, I'm sorry, you should know, you work for an attorney.

  10. Wendy, you need to contact the embassy in amman either by phone or email and ask them why the passports were returned. If it's because of sec. checks, then they would possibly return them and ask for them at a later date for they know that your husband and daughter need their passports in hand until they issue the visa. On the other hand, if he didn't pass sec check, then I would really look into that.

  11. It states in many USCIS documents about the K3 being a multi-entry visa. So they didn't take his departure card at the interview and he can travel there and back. I pray he doesn't have a problem with them or he gets denied GC while he's gone or they need another paper asap and he's not here.

    Hi Andrea,

I was discussing your husband's travel plans with my husband who is also from Jordan and he says if your husband leaves before he gets his green card, it will be almost impossible for him to return. His advice is that he puts off his trip until after he has his green card. Fortunately, our I130 was approved while my husband was still in Jordan so when he went for his interview at Jordan embassy, he took the I130 and abandoned the K3. You should tell your husband to seriously think about this before he leaves for Jordan as he may not be able to return.

Hi there. It's ok. The USCIS says he can travel without AP because the K3 is multi-entry. Thanks for your concern, I appreciate it.
