I had my interview yesterday as well. It was good. Good luck, you should be fine.
I see you are from Canada, are you going to be a dual citizen?
US doesn't allow dual citizenship as far as I can tell which is a blow. Its a touchy subject overall of being a dual national.
Congrates on your interview.

I am done with my interview. See my other post for noting the experience.

Interview was a breeze - very quick and most of the time was spent on the paperwork. There were 11 quick questions asked but very straightforward.
At the end of the interview, I was handed a form N-652 stating that I passed the test. Also they mentioned that the decision cannot yet be made - because the officer needed a final signature from the supervisor. As per the officer that is not a big deal. But I was assured to get a letter of oath in mail in next 2-4 weeks. Did anyone have a similar answer?
Also, they made me sign both the photographs and I was under an impression that you have to write your full name. I don't know this may be something new.
But overall it was a good experience.
Thnx.

Mine did not change even after the biometrics and getting the interview date scheduled. So, I wouldn't count too much on the online status.

here you go

I had 8 days advanced notice to the FP appointment from the date I recieved the letter. I think your lawyer is trying to caution you should you go on vacation and may get extended, but if its couple of days its not going to matter.

Congrates for passing the Interview. The rest of the journey should be a smooth one.

It's not wrong and that's the reason its a touchy subject.
http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis/cis_1753.html
e.g. If US allow dual citizenship explictly, it can't have dual policy for prior citizens of India, UK, Columbia and Canada with one exception and others without any exception. The interpretation however is that, if the foriegn national's home country doesn't automatically renounce the citizenship by simply taking US citizenship, that in itself can be treated as an exception. In that case, UK and Canada does allow dual citizenship and hence the nationals of those two countries can entertain having dual citizenship. I don't know about columbia so can't say anything, but India also doesn't allow dual citizenship. They provide some other means to relax travel to India without a visa if you are an original citizen of India. That is not dual citizenship.
To argue on this word dual citizenship, a perfect example would be a British citizen gaining Canadian citizenship.
This is how I understand it.
