The worst that could happen is having the package rejected.
They cannot deny based on that missing piece of information and they would actually have access to it.
Thank you!

You could leave that field blank and mention the number is not available.
If the package is accepted, you would get an RFE asking for that info. That would give you time to get an answer from CBP.
I have been waiting for that answer since May. I'm not sure if I should run the risk of not having it...

Hello. Can you provide some details? What are you trying to submit? What country? Why do you need the old I-94?
I am trying to get the records for I94. In order to submit I-130 andd I-485 they are asking me the number of I94. My mother is in the country right now. The only thing I'm in need is that information. I requested the information through CBP website and it tells me is in the Assignment phase. I don't know what that means.

To adjust you need to show she entered with inspection.
In her old passport it shows the date she should have stayed until. But she lost her I94.

Does she have the old passport she used to enter?
Yes but it only shows the date she should have stayed until.

She overstayed and never left.

Have you heard from CBP? I'm going through the same right now and on the website it says icon the Assignment phase. I don't know what that means. I requested it last May. I had to do an application.

Hi all,
I'm preparing to submit I-130 for my mother. The only thing I am missing is the I-94 number. She overstayed 20 years ago and I don't have that information. I requested I94 information in the CBP website but I don't know how long this will take. Anybody has any advice? Can I apply without the I94 number?
Thank you!

Hi, I am trying to do paper work for my mother. I need her I94 that was given 20 years ago. I went to CBP website and I requested a FOIA to get her I94. This was done last May. When I go to the website and log in my requests shows that is in the Assignment phase. What does this mean? Anybody has had this experience before? Do you know how long this take approximately? This is the only document I need to request her. Can I sent paperwork without I94? Please help!
Thank you so much!

She came to this country with a B1 visa and overstayed, then she got a EAD through a U visa. We met on March of 2010 and got married on October 2011. We send the package in August. We got the interview notice a few days ago for the first days of December.
I tried to fill the timeline but I don't know if it worked.
Thanks!

Hi everyone, I just got schedule for my interview the first days of December. Now does anyone knows what kind of questions they are going to ask?? is it too hard? im kind of nervous... any help is appreciate it!
thanks!!

I thought it would be better if I send everything at once and then at the interview I wouldn't have to bring that many things if they ask for any. Also, I saw another post of another member and he send almost the same things and he got approved...

How can I move the question to the change of status through family forum

My wife came to this country 8 years ago with a tourist visa, during that time the government issue her a U Visa and she tried to ask for herself and try to get a green card. The process was denied but they issued her a work permit for 3 years. Now we got married on October 2011 and we are trying to send the packages for adjustment of status. My question is do we have to send prove that she has a work permit with the packages?? we already put in the forms the Alien number she has for her case.
Please help!
Thanks!

both of you and I think you need to send a passport picture for each of you for that form.

I want to send copies of the past 3 years of my taxes, but I don't know what part of my taxes I should send. Should I just send a copy of form 1040 of each year?
-

Yes, I'm adjusting status because of marriage, we got married on 2011, but I'm here with a U visa. So I don't know if it would be the same as K-1. We are filling an I-130 I just want to make sure if we have to send proof that we live together with the forms or should I wait until they set an interview.
-
What kind of documents should I send with my forms? I have,
-bank statements
-lease of our apartment
-car insurance cards
-health insurance cards
Are this extra documents enough or should I send something else?
Help!
Thanks in advance!

Thank you! Did you applied for I 102 first and then did I-130?
