Hello how is everybody doing? I am the USC and my husband (beneficiary) resides in Italy, I want to know do I have to have his PCC translated?? We were told by a friend that went through the same as we are now that he did not have it translated, can someone please let me know what to do?.. My husband has the Certificato Generale del Casellario Giudiziale and the Certificato Del Carichi Pendenti. Thank you in Advance.

I PAID THE AOS PAYMENT ONLINE. MY PAYMENT STATUS IS STILL IN PROCESS, BUT IT LET ME PRINT THE BARCODE COVERSHEET. CAN I SEND IN THE AOS PACKAGE BEFORE THE STAUTS CHANGES TO PAID.

Hi no do not send the AOS in before is says paid ok, it has to say it is paid first, same with the IV Bill...usually takes about 3 days or so.

all documents are sent to the embassy in the packet

originals go to nvc

if you want any originals back, enclose at least one copy of each and they will be given back at the time of the interview

I was asking because he said he read it in one of the interviews for Italy I was just hoping he would not have to pay for 2 PCC from both countries because he rides in Italy but he is from Nigeria. Thank you very much and I will make sure we include a copy of the PCC with the IV Packet. Thanks again...

Hi I want to ask do you send the original PCC when you recieve it from your spouse to go along with the IV packet?? I ask because my husband read somewhere that he has to have the original PCC when he goes to his interview. Just want some clarity on this. Also if I have to send the original PCC do I also send off a copy of it as well to go along? Thank you in advance.

In one of the earlier posts, someone mentioned that NVC does not know how to process the new I864 form and highly suggested that any filer use the old form in order to avoid any delays... In the USCIS website, it says for the I864 form: "03/22/13. USCIS will accept previous editions dated 09/19/11 until June 23, 2013. After June 23, 2013, USCIS will only accept the 03/22/13 edition."

I need help getting something clarified. Is the June 23, the postmarked by date or the received by date? I plan on mailing the AOS packet on the 21st of June 2013. Any reply will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Hi I just sent off my AOS packet and I sent the new one because I figure when they get it, it will take them a week or two to assign a case worker, I would suggest you to send the new one since you are sending too close to the expiration date of the old version.This is what I suggest.

Hi everyone I want to know if there is and interview fee and also do you have to set up your own interview appointment? I thought is said that after your NVC part is complete that they send to the Consulate that your spouse is at and they set you and appointment up for you just want to be clear. Thank you for your response...

i use the old version via express mail hope they will process my aos... they receive it last june 5.. hope they have time to process it to put it in their system....

question do we need to send copy of aos to the benificiary the old and new form of aos and also a copy of 2012 tax return and w'2s?

Yes, there's a delay right now in NVC processing the new I-864. I sent the new form on May 7 and still has not been processed, as NVC is waiting for Dep't of State to tell them how to process (this is how NVC explained it to me).

Nevertheless, your're right, the old I-864 is expiring on June 24; so if you send the old one in, there's a chance that it is expired by the time NVC is processing it. At that point, you'll have to send in the new form and the rest of your documentation again. OR you take the chance of sending in the old one and perhaps it's processed before expiry, then lucky you!

Hello everyone I am just curious which form is people using I am about to send my AOS out and I seen a topic on here that some where panicking about which form to use the old version of the I-864 or the new one? Now I know the old one will be expiring soon I think on the 23rd of this month if I send out the old one next week will there be a chance they will use it? Or should I figure they might not touch it or a person get to it really for a couple of weeks? Just a bit nervous don't want to send out the wrong version and they delay our paperwork? Thank you for any advice it is appreciated.
