I have interview next week well my husband do, and we took alot of time and sent alot of chats, pictures and stuff like that, that I had sent stuff at the begining from the I130 part, I think we over did it cause they have most of these things anyways I am hoping they give back our pictures and originals like birthcertificate and all that chat stuff they can keep cause it was alot!! If he asks they probably will give it back to you, don't sweat it.

Hi Make sure you go over everything again and call NVC and question them about the email they sent. They will give you the specifics on what is missing and what you need to do in order to get it correct. It happened to me where I put in the wrong info on how much I made in 2012 and I think I put .01cents difference and they said it did not match what they got, so your best bet is to call them and ask them what corrections need to be made, and just resend tax transcripts of all 3 years 2010-2012. Also check the co sponsor info as well. Good Luck.

I sent pictures in at the begining with my I-130 and they did accept them and it would be good that you have them at the interview as well to me it is better to be overprepared than underprepared. If you did not send them them make sure you have them with you at the interview or when ever they ask for evidence of relationship.

Hi waltee, I believe you do have to have that stamp or seal on your mariage certificate. I had to do this as well, and you will have to have at least a copy of your birth certificate and marriage certificate because you should have sent the originals and a copy to them with your IV packet. Your Birth certificate should be good as well as long as it has that seal. unless it has expiration date on it. Just remember if you did not send originals with IV packest bring them with you as well as copies.

Hi my husband did not need to translate his Italian PCC because the Consulate had people who spoke both English and Italian, I was told that by the NVC when I had asked this question before. Hope that helps and best of luck.

the medical is scheduled automatically the day before. make sure you are there at 7.30 even for the interview go early because they go by first come first served basis not by appointment. also make sure that you dont forget anything on that day, and also to check if you have to pay any fees check your interview letter on the last page you should have written fee payment i think, if you have a dollar sign next to it you're good. hope this helps and good luck. if you have any more questions feel free to ask i was just there last month.
Thank you so very Much Becks92 you helped me alot we were trying our best to find out if we had to schedule one by calling for one we know now and yes i beleive I did see a dollar sign next to payment fee what that means it is all paid for right? I would like to know how much will he be spending for the whole trip he is coming from Venice, was is expensive for you?

Did you got your case number from NVC? If so, check your status here
https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?
If it says in transit to the consulate/embassy, then you should contact them to see if they got your file. I just read in another forum that the email of Napoli consulate is. IVNaples@State.gov
Aparently they answer you back very quickly, 1 or 2 days after you sent the email.
Now, I don't know how it works in Naples, but in my case, in Guayaquil, I emailed them asking if they have recieved my case already and if I could download the instruction package form their website. They answered the next day saying they got them and go for it... Make sure you especify your case number, beneficiary name and date of birth in the email...
I have my interview on Monday and I haven't recieved their package 4 yet, so sending them an email was a dry good way to save time, otherwise I would still be waiting for them... Check the forums or put "Napoli" on the search tool, lots of useful information will apear
Hope this was of any help to you. Good luck
Thank you Vivsan for your response it helps alot!!

just wait for packet 4 from NVC
Thank You mabuhay2012 we did recieve the packet 4 instructions this week and it told us what is needed, was just wondering do my husband just go to the medical the day before his interview without being scheduled? Or should he try to schedule an apt. before? The instructons they sent me about interview did not sday whether they have already done or we should do....
-
Naples usually schedules the medical the day before the interview, at the Istituto Varelli. If you got an interview appointment you should have got the instructions from the Consulate too. Check those + http://italy.usembassy.gov/visa/iv.html + http://italy.usembassy.gov/visa/iv/application.html, everything is explained there. Good luck!
Oh ok we were looking for a number to call to schedule medical do anyone know or is it on this sight that you gave us? Thank you so much because they did not give us an appt. time or date for medical.
***moved to progress reports from process and procedures***
Thank you NLR
Now he can just get his interview letter and schedule his medical anytime before medical he wants. he should probably call medical and see how long after medical to get results most places its 4 days to a week.
All your fees you paid at NVC. The $165 fee is paid anytime after you receive the Visa and you pay online. He will get the instructions to pay when he picks up his Visa. And the fee can be paid before or after he arrives.
So next is start gathering evidence getting ready for interview and medical. And packing.
Congratulations.
Thank you Dwheels76 you always come through!!! God Bless

Very Excited just got our interview date last eve and it is October 8th @ 7:30 am
, I am US Citizen and my husband has interview in Naples, we are wondering after gathering all evidence, what next? Do he have to set up a medical for himself or will it be on the same date of the interview? Is there another fee that we are required to pay like an interview fee? I know we have the 165 for green card fee, just wondering what's next??? Thank you in for your response.

Don't expect anything you sent to the USCIS to make it to the NVC and consulate, it's likely it did, but there's a chance it didn't either... Anything you sent to the NVC should make it however. The beneficiary should bring everything possible.
OK thank you we will do that

I am excited because I called last evening and they put me on hold and came back to tell me my case was complete as of the 13th of this month and is being sent to Embassy. I am trying to get all my evidence together, but I know during the USCIS stage I had sent alot as far as pictures of my first and second visit, flight itineraries, yahoo chats, ect.... I am asking do we send all the messages again or do we start at where we left off?? as far as Skype and Facebook and phone calls? Oh by the way I am the USC...
Thank you for any help.

Hi I find it to be the best time to call is first thing in the morning, at like 8 am eastern time, they usually pick up right away, hope that is helpful to you.
-
Hi I was told when I recieved one of these that where there is an [X] at yes you have to correct them and if it is a black area where you dont see an [X] then no correction need to be made. Your best bet is to Call NVC and ask them what the corrections that have to be made, be specific and dont let them rush you off until you understand the corrections that needs to be made.

Congrats!!! Happy for you!!

Since you're sending them to the NVC, and not to the Consulate (which does accept documents in English and Italian), I'm pretty sure they need to be translated.
Anyone fluent in both languages can do it (you or your husband included). Make sure you attach the Certificate by Translator. Copying and pasting from the USCIS website (http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextchannel=fe529c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextoid=ff053d146a7ee010VgnVCM1000000ecd190aRCRD):
- Please submit certified translations for all foreign language documents. The translator must certify that s/he is competent to translate and that the translation is accurate.
The certification format should include the certifier's name, signature, address, and date of certification. A suggested format is:
Certification by Translator
I [typed name], certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and ________ languages, and that the above/attached document is an accurate translation of the document attached entitled ______________________________.
Signature_________________________________
Date Typed Name
Address
Thank you A+J for this, I did call the NVC and they did confirm to me that I did not need it to be translated since it was going to be interviewed in Naples, thanks again
-
Hi, I sent them to the NVC just like they gave them to me. Both certificates and birth certificate were sent without any translation and they didn't even blink. I got my interview date too so I guess they liked what I sent
Ok thanks Apapaia I will just send as they are thanks. Thank you all for helping me. I had called NVC this morning and they said they same that I did not have to have them translated, they said since it is going to be at Naples they do both English and Italian so thanks again for all your advice. Hope this helpes someone else who is going through the same thing.
Document translations are not required by the NVC.
Thank you Ryan H.

I carried them with me to the interview, I didn't send them anywhere. But again, maybe they changed the procedure. As Jihana said, you can have them translated just to be on the safe side.
Ok thank you both

I assume he is interviewing in Naples, Italy, right? I did not translate my police records, because the US Consulate in Naples accepted documents in Italian without English translations. Documents in any other languages needed to be translated. Double check withe the US Consulate (they should have instructions on their website) to see whether they changed their rules. When I did it, about 3 years ago, no translation was required.
Thank you newlyweds2010 for your response and yes he will be interviewing in Naples, but when I send them to NVC will they accept them like that?
a friend said the same he did not need it to be translated as well and it has been about around the same time I will check and make sure on that website s well Thanks...
Be on th safe side just get it translated and safe a delay that could come later
Thank you Jihana, I will probably do that just in case so I wont have any delays.... Thanks
where do you find the DOS case number?
