  1. Its crazy, its sick and it doesnt make any sense at all. Do NVC also take 30 business days to answer their calls?. I sent in my ds261 since May 31st, 2014. its was scanned on the 3rd of June 2014. I am still waiting to get my iv bill. got a checklist for not submitting page 9 of 9 i-864 form, sent it already. but does that mean i wont get my iv bill invoice till the AOS checklist is reviewed?. Please help. Is anyone experiencing or has ever experienced this?, what did you do about it?.

THEIR SYSTEM THAT CONTROL EVERYTHING AS CRASHED :ranting::ranting::protest: Sorry to say, SO stop beating up your self, the nvc/department of state worldwide visa system as crashed that's cause everything to b on holded until they get it fixed, which they only said AS SOON AS POSSIBLE :clock::clock::clock::clock::clock:

  2. thanks

You need proof of your US citizenship - US passport, naturalization certificate, or US birth certificate.

You need proof that you are the father - you listed as the father on your child's birth certificate.

Proof that you meet the 5 years of US residency (2 years of which is after age 14) - high school transcript, college transcript, US tax returns, etc.

You do not need to be in Jamaica.

    thanks

  5. My IV fee is still not invoiced and it's been about two weeks. My AOS fee was available at the same time as the DS-261.

But everyone is a little different. Wait a few days.

    ---

With the IV packet- do you not have to send in a bunch of support documentation? I feel like it's fairly straight forward and probably not needed to send in anything else. My I-130 packet was probably 100 pages and my AOS packet at least 60, so it'll be weird for me to send in a small amount of papers!!

And 2nd question- for the "NVC received" part of the spreadsheet, is that date when they enter my AOS packet into the system? Or when they psychically receive it? Just to see if I need to fill out a form to update the spreadsheet :)

my wife got the case number, she went on there today she said she saw aos not paid but she just went ahead and fill out the ds-261, after she finish that the aos disappeared and its only showing iv packet not invoice yet return in 3-5 working days

  6. Called NVC this evening and they received my case yesterday... Whoo!! The girl was really sweet and after she said it would take 30 business days and she heard my reaction she said, "I know it's hard, but at least it's here." Lol

Saylin, please update the spreadsheet. Received at NVC on 2/27/14. Thanks!!

For those of you keeping track because of their own cases, NOA2 was 2/19/2014 from CSC.

Also, does anyone know how long it is taking to receive a interview date for Paris, France? Trying to look at the big picture and figuring out when I can see my hubby again... Preferably when he comes to the US to stay lol.

can u plz give me the nvc phone number u called?

  7. This is what I see going on, person whose pd date is between MAY 01 and 15 got transfer to NSC, from MAY 16 to 31 went to CSC AND TSC, a lot that went to CSC got APPROVED days to weeks after in dec, now TSC started APPROVING theirs on JAN 6........ I'M happy for those that got approved but am also BITTER with USCIS at NBC and NSC because NSC is still doing FEBURARY 2013, REASON most of the Phipps case went to NSC and they put FEB on hold to do them ( the persons from Phipps cases) so NSC is WAY WAY BEHIND,,,,,,,.......cray5ol.gifClockWatch2.gifcrying.gifprotest6wz.gifprotest6wz.gifprotest6wz.gifprotest6wz.gif am so hungry as my wife is now pregnant and we r far apart its driving me crazy.

  8. Hi AP...These are questions and answers from the US Embassy through one of Jamaica newspaper, please read, hope this helps..ASK THE US EMBASSY

    Migrating while pregnant

    Wednesday, August 21, 2013

Q: My mother filed an immigrant petition for me and my family. We just had our interview at the United States Embassy and the visas were approved. I'm about seven months' pregnant, and I would rather not travel until after my baby is born. What are my options?

A: If you are a pregnant woman coming for an immigrant visa interview at the US Embassy, it is important to disclose this information to the medical doctor during your required medical exam, and to the interviewing consular officer.

The officer will be able to give you the best options for you to travel with your baby, depending on the child's due date. If your visa is approved and you migrate to the US and give birth to your child there, the child will automatically become a US citizen.

If you are closer to your due date and cannot travel, however, you will still be able to take the child to the US without adding him or her to the filing.

If you have been issued an immigrant visa and your child is born after the visa issue date but before the visa expires, the baby is not required to have a separate immigrant visa of its own. Your child must have a valid passport from his or her country of nationality, and the birth certificate stating you are the parent. You can take your child with you when you migrate to the US, and present these documents at the port of entry with the rest of your family's immigration packets.

If you have recently given birth to a child but have not yet had your interview at the Embassy, your baby will need to be added to the current petition in order for him or her to travel with you and immigrate to the US. You will also need to bring documents for the child, such as the completed DS-230 application form, birth certificate, and medical exam, to the visa interview.

For more information on immigrant visas and contacting the US Embassy's immigrant visa section, please visit our website at http://kingston.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visas.html.

The Embassy staff in Kingston will answer questions you may have regarding the US Mission, including consular law, regulations and/or practice. In order to respect privacy, staff will not answer questions about specific visa applications. The embassy employs a visa appointment system, so it is only necessary for visa applicants to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment.

Send your questions to: editorial@jamaicaobserver.com and we will send them to the embassy.

    thanks much

  9. Huh? No it won't. Your wife will be approved/denied regardless of the baby, based on the merits of the application you sent in.

she got pregnant next month when I was in JA, and I filed from MAY, I know it wont affect the approval but after it gets approved and it come to the time for her to do her medical??? someone told me today they will dump every and tell me to refile after the baby is born, am confuse
