    Our journey is finally complete. It took a grand total of 1,370 days from the beginning of the K1 Visa to the Oath of Citizenship. It was a LONG and tedious process, but well worth the time and expenses involved. We would like to wish everyone much success on their journeys. Yes, The American Dream IS possible! Our sincere thanks to everyone on Visa Journey that helped and supported us throughout this process. It saved us thousands in legal fees by doing it ourself.

    Yes, based on 3 year marriage.  We are a same sex couple. You will have to answer certain questions based on five years for it to accept your answer. It's not a problem.

    When you come through customs, they KEEP the large envelope. They send it on to USCIS. The only thing you leave with is your passport and visa. All is normal. Hang in there.
