From the replies I've read they seem to guide to the right direction. From personal experience I can tell you that the fact that you guys met online thru a social media network shouldn't keep you from debating whether or not you can file or if its too soon. I met my hubby through tagged.com and my mistake of not filing sooner for him was the fact that I hired a lawyer that told me I needed to do such and such thing before even petitioning for him I filed for him all on my own and so far everything turned out fine hes even here with me already....good luck and keep positive! your true day is when you both are there for the interview trust me!

Our interview was on feb 26th, issued on march 10th, and picked up on march 14th. Be patient guys

Ok so case status on CEAC website went from AP to READY to back to AP to ISSUED....plz plz plz if someone can tell me does this mean thats it? Is it really gonna be homeplate now or the possibility that it will go back to AP? I dont want to get excited for nothing...PLZ HELP!!

Sooo can someone plz help me in finding out if i have to talk to someone or help calm my nerves about this whole situation...its been more than 2 weeks since my case was recieved in Santo Domingo...did anyone's take long getting an interview from there? This process is starting to be a lil depressing i just want my babe here

So its DOS i should contact? Cuz man i been obsessively checking CEAC and it still says "in transit" and for the appt is it scheduled automaticlly or at what stage do i have to call to schedule one thanks for the info by the way

Hello Maria y Ramon! In my case it took 2 days for my case to make it from NVC to DR... Call DOS and find out if it was received, it should be there already if it left the 26th. Remember the 26th was thursday so you had the weekend delaying the delivery. I don't know if it's standard but mine went from Boston to PR then to DR.

This waiting game is highly stressful

I think I'm in the right thread...so for the DR how long is the wait for them to recieve my case? And I'm still confused on the whole appt process...can someone with a case in the DR clarify this For me PLZ! i been waiting since the 26th for them to recieve my package is that normal? There's some vj'ers that have theirs recieved in 3 days...ugghh stressing!! Were soo close and yet still so far on this journey

@Aws&ndd...Omg i hope that's the case with me...i been working 2 jobs so far all this year because i know last years income is way under the the required income so I'm hoping with the current years income would be taken into consideration than last years :/
