AOS fee has been invoiced with a yellow triangle sign, we've been trying to pay but it keeps saying processing and times out without comfirming processed or paid. Is anyone having the same problem or is there something we are missing.
Yes, I'm trying to pay the AOS fee as well, and it keeps timing out with a server error.

Nice to see you here ! I can't believe it took this long for you to get a number....You were approved way before me.
Nice to be back. Well believe it or not I could not call everyday. Probably was ready 1 April or a couple days before. I have two good friends visiting me from Germany, and been showing them the Island of Oahu. Also got the news yesterday that my wife is going to make a 3 1/2 week visit. She'll bring all her official docs that we will send off from here. We have to plan now for her to come for good in SEP/OCT timeframe due to the requirement for her to give notice at her job in Germany. But at any rate I got hold of the NVC with the 2nd call today, and a wait of only about 15 minutes. A record for me. lol
BTW, I have a cottage for rent 5 minutes from the Ocean, cheap, for anybody interested. :-)

Case and Invoice Number assigned!! Filled out On-line Choice of Address and Agent (DS-261)!!! Let the process continue!!! Yeh!!!

GUS is who i spoke with yesterday. I 100% agree with you. Cordial, patient and Sweet.
I wouldn't say sweet from my point of view. My wife may not like that. ;-) lol
-
Just spoke with "Gus" at the NVC. He was very cordial. He said my case arrived at NVC on 28 february. , and to wait 4 or 5 weeks before it will probably be assigned a case number. I'm pretty sure it will be before then. Saylin, cud you please update your spreadsheet? Thanks.
-
Saylin, please add me to your spreadsheet. I certainly appreciate it!!!

Tried calling the NVC, They are closed due to inclement weather.

Glad we included my husband birth cert with our package. Now if I could just get them to approve us.... Does anyone have any idea what " assigned to an officer" actually means? and how long does it take for someone to pick my file up and look at it and approve it after ebing assigned? I could be assigned to the same officer for a month. Maybe each officer gets a batch of 500 assigned to them. WHO FRIGGIN KNOWS????? UGHHHH
wow, at least it is something you can send back right away. Im still holding out for my approval...
Well, can't send it "right away" as my wife is still here in the US. She has her birth certificate in Germany in her (go to the embassy" stack of paperwork. So have to wait for her to get back. Then she needs to make the copy, and I'm still deciding if we should pay for a translator or take our chances with my wife translating, as she probably speaks better english than me. lol Perhaps I will try mt congresswoman as well. and fax it directly to her office with a copy of the I-130 instructions.
Knowing Texas, they have anybody with congressional support in a lost box.
-
So, I received the hard copy of my RFE: It took 9 months for USCIS to tell me I need a copy of my wifes birth certificate. NO WHERE in the I-130 instructions does it says that that must be submitted for your wife!!! My wife finishes her vacation here next Sunday, in which she will go back make her copy, translate it and send it to me to fedex off to them. My congressman will here about this!!!!

Oh Yeh, and this is with Texas.....which seems to be known for giving "needed birth certificate" RFE's.
-
I bet they leave at noon !!
I just found out the Government workers around me are leaving after a half day! Best of luck to all, regardless things can only get better in the new year!!!
-
OMG we got approved! I was so surprised. Happy New Year!
Congrats!!!! Where were u transferred to?
-
OK Steve, you did break our pact though. We were supposed to get approved at the same time... LOL
I am so very happpy for you.. You actually heard something today and we were just talking about it !! What luck...
Hopefully you get approved! and not an RFE which texas seems to be infamous for. Now I have to wait for the dumb letter.......
-
OK, at least you know that you are assigned to an officer.... YAY !! maybe its something so ridiculous,,,, Cross your fingers for me ! ! ! !!
I hope it's something stupid. It says for "initial" evidence, not additional. I turned in everything asked for initially. Probably the spouses birth certificate or something they did not originally require.
Fingers Crossed!
-
Just got an email...RFE! at least they're getting to it. wonder what they want?!
-
I haven't been watching March today. You know how sometimes the approvals come through at night. Almost like they are put in a Queue to be delivered after hours.... MAYBE something will come tonight. There is still tomorrow. I'm guessing whoever took off before Christmas over there has to work the skeleton crew this week.
TSC is an hour behind me.
The official holiday is the 1st. Who knows if they are closed tomorrow. I would love them to pick up my file and approve it today... ha ha wouldn't we all?
Yes!!!! Have to give good vibes and totally imagine our adjudicator signing off on our I-130 appovals just this minute......putting it in the Queue.......getting in line for the email "send outs" and text messeges, so that we will have an approval sitting in our in-boxes when we awake tomorrow morning!!! Of course with me sitting in Hawaii, and a few hours behind Texas time, I am usually still awake when the messeges get rolled out!!!! Coming tonight.....I feel it!!!!!
-
Yup, IT SUX.
I have to save money and vacation time for his interview. I was thinking to go vist again at the end of Feb or beginning of March anyway. If we get approved soon, that will give time for the NVC. Glad I didn't buy a ticket yet.
By the way, I saw a news report about buying airline tickets. The airlines ask for your personal info before you search because they are monitoring your activity. Ever look for flights one minute and go back 20 minutes later and it is $30 more? its because they are monitoring your searches. The news person said to search on one computer and buy the ticket on another. Flights do get really expensive.
I can certainly see that with the airlines. That's a good idea. I will search and buy on different computers in the future. Thanks for the info! ;-)
Anymore movement in March or April yet today?
-
Mine says Dec 2nd for the K-3 and Dec 3rd for the I-130. I think those are the dates that TSC received them. They did something with my case the day before it was transferred, but nothing since the transfer until today. Who knows how long its been on someone's desk.
I hope we all get approved before the next Holiday on January 20th LOL
I don't even call that recorded ####### anymore. it depresses me.
I must say that I really feel for all who are without their loved ones with them during this holiday season. I am lucky in that my wife is here with me until the 12th of January. She made it in on 13 December POE Seattle, with no problems whatsoever. But it is getting very expensive flying one way or another along with using all of our valuable vacation time to see each other. I visit her in April again for her birthday.
-
I specifically asked if our case was assigned. Its almost like if you don't ask specific questions, you get the generic form letter. I'm so happy I didn't get the " processing times are 6 months from the date of this notice" I think I would have just died
I wonder how long its been assigned? Recently or a month ago? Give me an inch, I want the whole YARD. I wanna know every detail.
I just told my husband and he still thinks he'll be here in 5 years. LOL
Yeh, I guess I will shoot off another email to ask the specific questions. The last touch of mine was 3 DEC. Is that what yours says when logging in ti the USCIS acct site? Maybe that's what they conside assigned. lol Also I just called to hear the good old recording, which stated I'm going through the standard processing, blah...blah, blah... and of course the blurb at the end that says please don't request further information until 180 days after the transfer. ugh!!!
-
Thanks !!
I hope we get approved the same day ! That would be cool
I was all happy . then the doubt popped in my head...
How many files do you think each person gest assigned? Do they assign a batch of files to each person , like a batch of 200? or do they assign a box of 50 at a time to each person? I could be the last file at the bottom of the batch or I could be the next in line....
You'd think I could just be happy with knowing we are assigned to an agent.... I have to analyze every detail....
I'm still waiting to hear from my congresswomens rep. So no clue if I have been assigned or not. Looking at Igors list, seems they skipped us along with the 17th somewhere. so our particular adjudicator probably took vacation for the holidays! To spend some nice relaxing time with their loved ones. Isn't that sweet (or ironic)? lol
