So your petition started at NBC "St. Louis, Missouri" and got transferred to "St Louis, Missouri". Your petition went nowhere! Haha.. Tier 1 and Tier 2 representatives are saying that currently they are working on Oct petitions..
Hint: I would read little more closely to your notice or expect it to be a typo. Also you can look at timelines and notice they have been processing petitions from Feb through April regularly... With that spread and statistically speaking your looking at anywhere between TODAY thru 4/5 more months..

I just wanted to say that I did not feel shunned at all. I totally understand the sentiment. I know how I would feel still being stuck waiting. I will still be on this thread and just be more mindful of others feelings. I'll limit my posts about NVC to the NVC thread....I know I will see you all there soon anyways!!! Have a blessed day!

I also have another update. I just got in the mail a notice that my file has been sent to NVC. It was sent to me from my local field office. So to answer previous questions, it looks as though it was sent to my local office and adjudicated from there. My local office is St. Louis, MO and it seemed to move very quickly once it got there. Just wanted to post an update since many of you were asking if I knew if it went to the local office or was approved at NBC. Wishing everyone an approval very soon!

Did the approval come from MSC or Overland Park?

I don't really have any details. I was going to wait for the 6 month mark before I did any inquiries because it seemed like there really wasn't anything to do before then. So I don't even know if it was sent to my local office or not. Wish I could give you more details. All I know is that there was nothing special about my case....no expidites, no Congressmen or Senators involved, and not living abroad with my hubby. Just a plain old USC filing for my husband. There is hope!!!!

To be very honest, I wasn't expecting to make this post for at least another month....but I just got a text message from USCIS saying "On September 30, 2013 we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I-130"....blah, blah blah...I didn't even read the rest. I'm still in shock. The only bad thing....my hubby's phone is turned off or out of battery.....I can't wait to tell him. I'm so happy right now!

I was crying like a baby I was so happy. It's such a great feeling. I can't wait for you all to experience it too! I also can't wait to tell him. Tomorrow is their Independence Day so he will already be celebrating, now he has even more to celebrate.
