PatchSC got a reaction from hastichiti in should the petitioner be in interview?
if you get the Immigrant visa, on it there will be an annotation stating that this visa is ONLY valid if you're accompanied by the father/mother or spouse (which means she will travel with you and enter the US)..or follow to join (which means you will have to enter the US after your petitioner did) ...due to the type of visa you're requesting.. the F2A (spouse or children of permanent resident)
You'll have to be ready to answer. if they asked, when was the last time your petitioner entered the US and why is she spending so much time back in her country..

PatchSC got a reaction from Phillip Kazuto in December 2014 Visa Bulletin Predictions Out!
Petitions submitted by US Citizens doesn't have ¨Numerical Limits¨ when it comes to receive a Visa for immigrate, only waiting time is the associated with the administrative and reviewing documents and relationship of the process. On the other hand, Petitions submitted by US Permanent Residents for spouses/children are subjected to a Limited number of visas each year, so there´s a ¨waiting line¨to get a visa depending on the priority date (the date you first submitted the application) which you can follow by checking the monthly Visa Bulletin from the DOS.
As a US citizen you dont have to worry about PDs, or VBs.. and you can join others threads or forums of US citizens to get a more accurate information and updates

for one to get interview set, case must be already completed (or in other cases with a incompleted or missing or erroneous document that must be presented at the embassy on the interview date) and all the fees (of the NVC stage, which you have to pay before they review your case and documents) must have been already paid...

we are all hoping that at least someone receives IL tomorrow the 27th.
we called today to NVC and my case doesnt have iV scheduled yet (i know my embassy is a very busy one..)
For what i´ve seen on some other IL threads, the 30s, 31st and first days of the next month are usually the dates where most of the IL emails arrive...

Visa cutoff dates usually move forward, as applicants receive visas -- but sometimes they move backwards. If a lot of people apply after a certain Priority Date is published the State Department gets overwhelmed, and needs to put on the brakes. It does this by moving the Priority Date in that particular visa category backward.
Unless by some chance you already got through the system and were granted a visa or green card, youe case can go nowhere until the Priority Date moves forward again.
