Hi. I know how you feel. Try emailing the Texas service center. Also, be ready for the next stage. That is what I have done. Hope this helps.
Hi, I did already and was told to wait, that's it! I am about to lose it here.. I just can't believe they will be so inhumane and so uncaring for us. Been waiting too long when we did all we could in an orderly passion here. So unfair!!!

Noa 1 February 27th Priority date March 1st.. Transferred from NBC to TSC October 24th.. My status still states
The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.
A few ppl where approved today with Noa1 date of Feb 16th I believe it was
Feb 28 filer and my husband's petition got transferred Oct. 23, still waiting... I don't even know what to say now? so frustrating, miss my husband so much...
-
I just read your timeline. You're filed IR-1/CR-1 Spouse Visa. It's different from our case (Fiance(e)/K-1) but your turn is coming. Just wait patiently.
Thank you, I really needed that. I am waiting patiently, but when you see cases in June/July being approved before me, just can't help but feel frustrated. And in all honesty, there shouldn't be any problem with ours other than our distance. His son, was approved Nov 27, and his paperwork was now forwarded to NVC on Dec. 24. I was hoping they can both travel together but until now, I am still waiting for his dad's petition to be approved.

They are checking your husband is not a terrorist nor has links to terrorism.
haha..that made me laugh, thanks! he is not.

This is so frustrating, it has been 10 mos. & 3days of waiting. I have requested to expedite 2 wks ago, they emailed me back saying that my case is undergoing security screening and I just have to wait. Haven't we all waited long enough for that? I have contacted the ombudsman also, but I have not heard from them either. How long does that security screening being process? I am a good law abiding, tax payer US citizen and my husband, I would say is of good moral character otherwise I would have not married him, known him for over 30+ years.
Anyone here who can relate to me or undergoing "security screening after waiting for 10mos?"

Just looking to see if anyone has any feedback. My wife is a USC and I am an Israeli citizen. We filed the I-130 back on April 4, 2013, and received our NOA1 263 days ago. On 11/30, the application was transferred to Texas Service Center....no word yet. It's taking forever, and USCIS told her on Friday it could take up to a YEAR just for processing. Seriously?? Please tell me you guys have had more luck with the Texas Center.
We had filed an I-129f to speed things up, but they have never even touched the application, and have given us no info despite TWO service requests. It's just sitting there at NBC, and I have no way to come visit my wife.
I feel your pain. If it makes you feel any better, Ours is Feb28 NOA1 and just like yours got transferred to Texas and still waiting for a decision. I called tier 2 last Monday and was told that it is still undergoing security check. They have approved my stepson son tho'. I just don't understand why they are holding off on my husband when they have approved his son's petition based on our marriage. Can anyone here in VJ relate to me?
-
Sorry guys, I'm Feb 28 NOA1, still waiting for approval! I'm getting so impatient with this system, done all I could...I am hoping to get a good news before Christmas, and for everybody here...
-
well, I'm a February filer and no approval yet! been calling every week now...so frustrating. they have approved my stepson before thanksgiving and yet my husband still being processed? make no sense at all...If they approved my stepson's petition based on my marriage to his dad, why is his dad still on hold?
-
My petition for my stepson got approved 2/27/13. So happy for that! I thought that my husband's petition will be the day after since my stepson's petition was approved late in the day. But it didn't come yesterday Friday. Anyway, hoping I'll get his approval early next week. I hope there is no problem with it since USCIS approved his son's anyway and their priority date is 2/28/13.. anyone here on VJ with the same issue? Just wondering... But yeah, got 1 approval out of 2!!!

I think there has been one March approval from California.
I'm in Texas. Haven't seen any approvals from there yet
Maybe I'll be the first?
I'm a Feb. filer, and mine got tfrd in Texas. Still waiting for noa2...Texas supposed to be fast, so I'm hoping to get a text pretty soon...

I received another email/text update around 9:15 pm last night that our case has been updated.. when i jumped up to check the status online this is message: The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.
smh....im already aware and received the hard copy of the the transfer...
this is the 3rd update within the last week.. hope this means a decision
sometime soon since our case is being "processed"
I received the same thing yesterday for both my husband and stepson, got 2 texts for them and I did the same thing, jumped and checked online So they must be really working on our file. My hard copies says they transferred my case to Mesquitte, TX tho'. Where did they transfer yours?
-
Ahh. Happens, i suppose. No worries. I was just wondering because it makes people sound agitated.
I KNOW, NO OFFENSE MEANT.. IT IS THAT PLUS, IT IS FASTER FOR ME TO RESPONSE COZ I DON'T HAVE TO GET THE FONTS ON AND OFF EACH TIME. I LIKE EVERYBODY HERE IN VJ, WE ARE ALL IN THE SAME BOAT, WAITING AND HOPING....HAVE A GREAT REST OF THE DAY!!!
-
I'm sorry, but what with the caps?
COZ I'M TYPING THRU MY SMALL TABLET..THE FONT IS TOO SMALL. SORRY TOO..

YEAH, WE WILL ALL BE IN "INITIAL REVIEW" AFTER TRANSFER TO LOCAL OFFICE. IT IS NOW UP TO OUR LOCAL OFFICE. WE CAN DO AN INFO PASS WITH THEM AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE NOTIFICATION THAT THEY HAVE RECEIVED YOUR FILE. LIKE WHAT THE TIER2 OFFICER TOLD ME 2WKS AGO, IT COULD TAKE UP TO 16MOS, DEPENDING HOW FAST THE LOCAL OFFICE PROCESS I-130. AND THAT'S THE REASON I FILED I-129F (FREE ANYWAY, IF FILED AFTER I-130), SO I COULD HAVE MY FAMILY HERE SOONER THAN 16MOS. HOPEFULLY....

Las Vegas Local Field Office http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=4&office=87&charttype=1
yes, check Las Vegas field office what they're processing right now. I got same notices as you on the same dates too, but mine is here in CA. Goodluck...at least we know where they are right now and if we want to, we can now schedule an info pass to check the status of our case. I am so thankful to that Filipino Tier2 officer that I've talked to last Tuesday, he was so right and told me to file I129, which I did...
-
if we apply for 129F after I130, there is no fee?????
can you please clarify
Yes, no fee. Pls. read the instruction on I-129F. It is no charge for those who already filed and paid I-130. Good luck..
-
I RECD A NOTICE JUST NOW THAT MINE GOT TRANSFERRED TOO. I AM A FEBRUARY FILER.
-
This is about the 3rd time I've read here on the Forums that at Tier 2 has told someone to file a K3 to speed up the process. I have also read that the boarder officers are seeing alot of people coming in on K3's.
My I-129f for the K3 has a NOA1 of 6-24-2013. The number for my I-129f starts with MSC the same as my I-130. I would also like to know when you get the NOA2 for your I-129f if it has a MSC number. Maybe it will be a CSC number.
My question to you is where did you get the Aug 23, 2013 processing date from? Did the Tier 2 tell you that or did you look it up on VJ.
THE AUG.23,2013 IS POSTED UNDER THE IMMIGRATION TIMELINE. CLICK ON THAT AND YOU'LL SEE THE PROCESSING TIME LISTING...

On October 23, 2013, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.
I JUST GOT THIS UPDATE ON MY CASE JUST 2MINS AGO. SURE ENOUGH, THEY TRANSFERRED MY CASE TO THE LOCAL OFFICE. SO THAT MEANS THE TIER2 I SPOKE WITH WAS NOT KIDDING ME. CALIFORNIA IS PROCESSING K3 FOR AUG. 23 RIGHT NOW. I MAILED MY I-129F EXPRESS MAIL YESTERDAY AND SHLD BE THERE BY NOW. THAT'S WHY WE'RE ALL HERE IN THIS SITE TO HELP EACH OTHER AND I AM JUST SHARING EVERY UPDATES AND INQUIRIES I DO. YES, IT'S A PAIN TO WAIT THIS LONG AND I CAN ONLY HOPE AND PRAY THAT WE'LL HAVE OUR TURN PRETTY SOON...

OK GUYS, I WAS GOING TO WAIT UNTIL I GET A NOTIFICATION ON THIS ONE, BUT I JUST HAVE TO SHARE WHAT I GOT FROM A TIER2 OFFICER LAST TUESDAY WHEN I CALLED. I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO TALK TO SOMEONE WHO TALKS THE SAME LANGUAGE AS I DO. I TOLD HER THAT I START TO LOSE FAITH WITH ANYONE AT THE 800 NO COZ' IT'S THE SAME EXCUSES. BUT I KEPT TRYING JUST MAYBE SOMEONE WILL GIVE ME AN HONEST ANSWER. SHE SAID THAT IT WAS TRUE THAT MY FILE WAS TOUCHED BUT THERE WAS AN UPDATE AGAIN LAST WEEK THAT CONFIRMS WHAT IVE BEEN READING HERE LATELY. 4 WKS AGO THEY SAID THAT ALL THE FILE LEFT AT NBC MISSOURI WILL BE PROCESSED BY THE END OF OCT WHICH INCLUDE MINE THAT WAS FEB PD. BUT NOW, IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN COZ' ALL THOSE FILES LEFT THERE WILL BE SENT TO LOCAL OFFICES TO BE PROCESSED. SHE SAID THAT THEY MADE THE DECISION BECAUSE THEY REALIZED THAT THEY CAN'T HANDLE ALL THE BACKLOGS AND LOCAL OFFICES ARE MORE CURRENT THAN THEM. SO I WAS TOLD THAT IT IS GOING TO BE ADDITIONAL 8 MOS(ATOTAL OF 16MOS)PROCESSING JUST FOR A DECISION ON A STAND ALONE I-130. I WAS ADVISED TO FILE I-129F FOR A K3VISA IF I WANTED MY HUSBAND AND STEPSON HERE SOONER. I DID YESTERDAY AND MAILED IT PRIORITY. SO IT'S UP TO YOU GUYS. I GUYS, THERE'S NOTHING TO LOSE IF WE GO THAT ROUTE. AT LEAST FILING I-129F IS FREE(FOR I-130 FILERS) AND HOPEFULLY CAN GET OUR FAMILY HERE SOONER THAN 16MOS. IF THEY TRANSFER MINE HERE IN CALIFORNIA, THEY ARE PROCESSING K3 FOR AUG. 23,2013. SO MAYBE I CAN HAVE MY DECISION IN 2 MONTHS...GOODLUCK GUYS...

Is your wife here in the US or still in the Phils.? If she is in the Philippines, then your file should have been processed in Missouri then once approved, they will send it to National Visa Center for visa then from there, they will forward it to the embassy in the Phils. where she will be scheduled for interview. Now if she is here in the states, then they will go to the local field office for processing. Try to call the 800 in your receipt and ask for a Tier 2 officer, don't settle for just the customer service coz' they have all kinds of answer that who knows where it's coming from. You've got to seek help from a lawyer or your congressman if the later was the case. Goodluck...
