When I check my online case it is under initial review. I will try calling them in the morning and see what they say.
We received this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or contact our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Does your case show up at all in the USCIS case status check? If it doesn't you might be in the same situation we were in. Ours never showed up in the case status check site. After a little more than 2 months form our NOA1, we asked the USCIS reps about our case and they were telling us the same thing they were telling you. We never knew and they never told us it was transferred to the local office. When we got desperate, we called a number we found of an adoption area of NBC in a google search and asked to speak with a supervisor and begged him to look up our case. He looked it up and he told us it was sent to our local field office. Mind you, nobody had told us about this ever before. We then made an InfoPass appointment to our local field office and found out that our case was closed and was sent to archives without updating the USCIS system and without any correspondence to us! The lady at the field office told us that this was a big mix-up and that she would not know what the decision was until she recalls the record form archives, opens it and looks at it. She said there is a possibility that it could have been approved too. She took down our number to call us but has yet to call us. But what we then did was called NVC and gave them our case number to check to see if they've received anything from USCIS. We were very surprised to hear that NVC had received it and was processing it without our knowledge! USCIS never sent us any correspondence after the NOA1 and the status check still says case not found. NVC told us USCIS approved our case in less than 2 months. We're now going thru NVC processing.I hope your case is similar and it's just a big mix-up.
Hi,
I have some problem. can you give me that NBC Phone #

I also did service request couple weeks ago because I had the same issue not being able to see the status online and they did not tell me that they will send me a letter.
I still can't check the status online maybe my file is just sitting there collecting tons of dust.
did they tell u if your case get transferred or not
-
What kind of letter they said they are going to send you? Are you a petitioner living aboard with your spouse?
i did service request because i can't track my case online.

Just call today and talk to Tier 2 ask him what month NBC is working on and he tell me that NBC is in backlog
he also tell me that my case is still at NBC and have not been assigned to immigration officer

You can't do an infopass at NBC. You'll have to wait until NBC confirms your case being shipped to your local field office before you can go in person. But like I said, calling once isn't going to do the trick - you might have to call a few times before anyone wants to give you any real information. You also just filed in March, so it might take another week or two for them to ship it out. Just make sure you keep on top of calling every so often.
So what you want me to do call everyday..
they say processing time is 5 months. Your case will be completed in August
Help me
Thank you,
-
Calling one isn't going to do it. You'll probably have to call a few times, and like I said, be persistent. Don't ask "if" your file got transferred, ask "when", so they think you already know. Just be firm.
I find it hard to believe your case is still at NBC. If it is, it's probably on its way out the door - maybe they just got backed up and haven't transferred it yet. I'd call to find out the transfer date, though.
I just call today and they are still telling me that the case is being process and case is still at NBC.
should I do and infopass appointment.

Hello VJ members, I am a march filer(I 130). I got the NOA1. Havent receievd the NOA2.

Then you've most likely been transferred to your local office. Call USCIS and talk to a Tier 2. You'll have to be persistent (they don't always like admitting cases have been transferred, for some reason) but if you're demanding enough they'll tell you where it was shipped to and on what date. Then you can call the local office and find out what's going on.
I call USCIS monday 13 and talk to a Tier 2 and he said my case still at NBC. So what should I do

NBC process cases within 60 days. However, unless the USC is abroad with the beneficiary, it is unlikely that your case will stay at NBC, but will instead get sent to your local field office.
It's been over 60 days. and I am in US since I file
-
Who knows how long...every application is different. I see some members approved within 30 days and some 180 days. Hopefully we don't fall under the 180 days category. What did the USCIS tell you? Did they say where your application is? i.e. with benefit center or the local field office?
Is at National Benefits Center.
What month NBC is processing now.

i call USCIS there telling me that it's in process.
how long does it take
