    My hubby just had his medical done today. It was $290. He had to take the appt letter, three pics, his passport and cedula. Hope this helps.

      Well he said there were no urine tests done on him but with the way things are in DR you can never be too sure what surprises might happen. He wasn't given the option of picking them up but that may be something you could have him ask if you're more comfortable doing that.

      He said it was pretty easy. He was done in less than an hour. The results are going to be sent directly to consulate. I wonder if that's better than being able to pick up the results and having them on hand. He wasn't given the option though. Always being paranoid, especially in DR that something gets messed up.

      Wow already??? I'm leaving in a few weeks and I'm still not ready. It feels like there's so much to do. But it's ok cause I booked us a couple of nights at a resort before the interview. Then I'll get to relax. Can't wait!!!

    April has come and gone and still no interview date :-( Guess we are looking at a June date because NVC said this morning that we did not make the May interviews. Must remain patient and know that in the end this long and difficult journey will have its rewards :-)

      Yes. They said that I should call back in two weeks to check for an interview date (as if I can actually wait that long to call) and that I would not be having a May interview date. I was expecting a June date but it still sucks to not even have that date so that I could start planning my trip. Still waiting...let's hope for some news soon. Good luck to us all.

    After studying alot of cases i figured that SDO( Dom. rep.) sends out the interviews for CR1 visas at about 1 month after case complete so i decided.. To calm my #### down and wait for it to come ! ughh

      Hi. I'm new here and I just wanted to say that I've also been looking at some of the cases here and it seems that most of them get their interview dates on the last day of the month (for IR-1/CR-1). I was approved on 4/1 and still no date. Waiting along with you guys.
