Hey @Living Proof! My priority date is February 28th, 2017, and I am in the Seattle office as well. I haven't heard anything yet. Do you know your friend's priority date? Can't believe it takes over 10 months to become a citizen
@AnaMatt not sure what priority date is but she did her biometrics on March 3rd and was in line for interview a few days after. I believe she filed on Feb 9th.

Hello Candace & Living Proof!
Anything new lately? I do not know what it is going, but I have not received anything until now.
Hey @MAHUNA
Hope you had a wonderful trip. Unfortunately I haven't heard anything yet but my friend, Feb filer, has an interview on Nov 2nd. Hopefully, we'll have our interviews in December.

@Living Proof wow! When I went for FP I asked the person who took my prints how things were going and he said they had been crazy there since the Fall, that they were seeing up to three times more applications than previously. It was just conversation but it made me wonder how long this was going to take.
I will be honest, I am out of the country from 20 September until 1 October so right now I am hoping NOT to hear anything... but I hope for some movement for you!! And for @MAHUNA (and especially your friend, since March..)
Best wishes and good luck! Candace
@Candace I hope the scheduling works out well for you. Best wishes to you and @MAHUNA

@Living Proof Mahuna and I are the only March filers on this thread from Seattle. So far as I know, Mahuna in line since end April and me since 5/5.
@Candace wonder what's going on with seattle. My friend who got in line early March has yet to be scheduled for an interview. Hope we'll all get scheduled soon.
-
Congratulations everyone!
Any March filers from Seattle? Have you been scheduled for the interview yet? Been in line since April 6th and the waiting is killing me.

They didn't ask for any birth certificates at our interview but that isn't to say they won't for yours, all they asked us for ID wise was our passports and our state IDs (Texas loves asking for their state IDs for some reason), anyway next time please start a new thread as this is completely unrelated to the original topic or find one of the several other similar threads where this question was already addressed.
Thank you aussie_jason, apologies for the hijack everyone.

Thanks A&B.
We did send a copy of my birth certificate and are taking the original with us to the interview but we don't have the petitioner's birth certificate. We only have his US passport
Among the list of documents to bring to the interview is the petitioner's birth certificate and proof US citizenship or lawful permanent residence.

Hi OP, sending you positive vibes and crossing fingers for you. Hope you receive some good news about your case very soon. We are also having our interview at Seattle tomorrow, fingers crossed.
For those of you who have been interviewed at Seattle, is a petitioners birth certificate a must have? My husband couldn't find his birth certificate or order for it in time but has his passport. We have everything ready but his birth certificate, hope that won't be an issue for us.

How is everyone doing?
Anyone having aos interview today or tomorrow? Our interview is tomorrow, we filled on Jan 17 and did biometrics on Feb 14. fingers crossed.

I applied through the website and got conditional approval, so I am covered for now. I was given 90 days to submit documents proving my lawful presence. My green card interview is on 9th April so I will probably wait till I get the greencard.
-
Ooops!!! Sorry about the empty post!
I never applied for EAD and AP, my green card interview is 9th April.
Will find out how my friend got her driving license in Oklahoma and get back to you. She already got her EAD and AP though.
-
Hello, I am also from Uganda. I applied for my AOS, EAD and AP. Would love to know how long it took you to get your Green card, EAD and AP? Unfortunately, in Oklahoma I am not allowed to even get my drivers license before I have a green card; life is challenging without being able to drive here.
-
My friend received that same letter stating the 6-month wait. She doesn't mind the wait as she is already working and her EAD is valid until Dec.
I suggest you update your timeline and look for similar timelines. You might be able to find some information from people in your area who have received interview wavers.
For my case, I have an interview on 9th April. People who have been interviewed from my local office have received their green cards in the mail as early as 6 days after.

Congrats my girl!!!! Wishing you the very best!!!

@Candace @MAHUNA any news yet? My interview has been scheduled for March 27th. Yay!! I didn't receive a text or email. Just found the letter in my mail box. My online case status says that my interview was scheduled on the 13th. Don't remember when I last checked but I'm pretty sure it was after the 13th and there wasn't anything new. Best wishes to everyone.
