My deadline to response the RFE is like 84 days.

Date of Notice April 29th... and have until July 22nd to reply. that they expires.

My RFE hard copy took like 4 days to arrive since the 2nd Email notification.

The first email or text, is the update, the 2nd notice, is the real time they send the hard copy... that took around 3 or 4 days!

I don't know if its just me, but I keep checking my email every 5 minutes.. same with the site!!! God so anxious!!!!

Hi all,

NOA1 on Sept. 10, 2012... and was dissappointed to get an RFE a couple weeks ago. Was a minor request and for what it's worth, I finally received my NOA2 just three days after responding to the RFE (at the CSC). Does anybody know the typical time it takes for the consulate to get the notice? It is going to the Philippines.

My RFE

Proof of Citizenship Birth Certificate Long.Form... (we send the other pfff)/

and proof of meeting (we just sent pictures with the names, location and dates on the back, this time we printed with the date on and stamps)

OUR RFE LETTER...about proof of meeting,

Last Personal Meeting: submit evidence of meeting the beneficiary in person within the two years period preceding the filing of the petition

PRIMARY EVIDENCE: Airline ticket stubs, receipts (that indicate year, month and day), copy of passport pages that show the identification and admissions stamps,...

SECONDARY EVIDENCE: May include Film-dated photographs of the petitioner and beneficiary together.

The following DOES NOT constitute evidence of meeting: discs, videos, emails, letters, phone bills and greeting cards.

For my RFE I have my Receipt/ Itinerary of my flight in spanish. Its very obvious all the information there, but the letter says all documents in foreign language must be translated!!

How Should I translate it?????????

You probably should paste the actual wording of the RFE here, because perhaps there's some detail that would help.

Usually the birth certificate should be enough BUT ... did you copy both sides of the birth certificate, even if the back was blank? Was there a seal/imprint showing it to be official? Some states have "long form" and "short form" certificates and if they have both, USCIS usually wants the longer version. Finally if all else fails, you can send a copy of ALL pages of his passport to prove his citizenship.

But please quote the RFE directly before doing anything rash -- sometimes they are quite picky about what they want and it's easy to misinterpret.

You are right! they need the long form of his birth certificate. plus evidence of us meeting in person preceding the filing of the petition.

Thank you, I will quote the exact RFE once i get the copy from him. but as I saw the birth certificate says he was born in Utah. we copy both sides.

As for October filers there are 68 unapproved and 18 of those have RFE.

Im a Sept. filer, I got an email for RFE but I havent got the hard copy yet....

First was an update in the system. Now they actually mailed it to you ;-)

Same here, NOA1 sept. 20th RFE email. April 22nd another email... the same onda today the 29th.

I got the Email the 22nd. its been a week and no mail yet. and today i got the same same same email but saying the mailed today..... do the 22nd or today????

We still haven't received anything with the mail. What should I do? It's been a week.

Same here, already one week and no mail

I know, FaceTime is the same, but no records, only last month history.

And Voxer is great for text and voice messages, the only thing is u can't get the history of the calls, I could make snapshots from the cell but can u imagine 7 months... More than 50 voice and text daily....

I am so scared. They send an RFE out with mail at 23 April (Yesterday). I am in panic because I am about to loose my job and think I don#t have enough time to get to the US without being completely broke so how long does it take to be approved after we respont to the RFE?

Also, we were together for 3 months because we filed and until now we made 5 trips and have tons of photos and evidence suchs as calls (we ar enow 1 year almost together). We call on the phone everyday like 3-4 times and then we have skype etc etc. I am super scared that I won't be approved Anyone in a similar situation?

Hey I received an email about the RFE the 22nd... but I cant wait to get the letter on the mail!! I feel the same as you!!!! I'm worry if they need more evidence of our relationship, we have pics... but don't have calls, we use voxer and FaceTime every day during the whole day, but you cant save a a register of those messages!!

Im worry about how to prove that we talk every day but by facetime! so there is not history about old calls,

I just got an email from USCIS they asking for RFE !!!!

we don't use email, we just talk on the phone, facetime every day, how can you prove that?????

I don't believe that the numerically subsequent receipt number is the same type of application as yours. The number after my receipt is a I-765 Application for Work Authorization and the one before mine a I-539 application to change or extend non immigrant status. They would be sent to different queues with different processing times.

I know, but the ones i checked were for K1.
