  1. Hi, I just came to Us with a K1 visa, Got married a week ago dancin5hr.gif Now the hear part to fill all the forms to the adjustment of status, my question>

--Do I fill the forms with my new name?

--to fill the AP form they ask for dates, I dont have a date Im going to trave... what should I do with that form?

to translate de birth certificate and vaccination document do I need a profesional person to translate them?

--what evidence do I need to send with the package? for the Affidavit of support, Can we use the same bank letter, employer letter that we sent with the I129 package or need a new one??

I CANT download the instruction for the I-765 work authorization....

    Thank you!!

  2. Hi,

Leave there a new letter of intent with a closer date to the interview with your original signature.

If you are gonna be the sponsor, The form I-.134 Affidavit of Support too, you have to fill it and original signature, those 2 things need your ORIGINAL SIGNATURE. he will need the support documentsfrom you for that form

tax returns, letter from your bank, with the date the account was opened, the current balance and deposits for the last past year, a letter from your employer saying yoir position, is you work full or part time, and how much you make, signed. you can put some of your last pay check stubs.

Give him your original boarding pass of your trip there.

Thats what i can think now.

    Hope it helps!

    Good Luck

  3. Hello VJ family, I was wondering if anyone summited a RFE to USCIS and the information wasn't updated on their website. I so worried and frustrated because my attorney (LOSER) received RFE(intent to marry) and if informed me that she mailed it to them on 05/10..... Still now my case status is the same. I called my attorney yesterday and she stated that she will get back with me but never heard from her. My question is :

    - Do USCIS changed case status once they received RFE?

    - how long will it take to receive my NOA2 after i they received my RFE?

Your assistance in this matter is highly appreciated.

    Thank you

Wish i knew about VJ prior to hiring my attorney( waste of time and money)...

    Hi!! I got RFE too,

USCIS received our RFE and immediately update the site... it took like 3 days for them to get the reply and update the site.

We got the NOA2 update on the site 7 days after the got the RFE and the hard copy 6 days after the update.

  4. Finally got my RFE hardcopy today May 22. The date on the website that they said they mailed the RFE was May 14 and this was also the date on the RFE I-797E form as well. The letter was postmarked May 20. I have an axe to grind because of the difference between the alleged mailing date and the postmark date, but will deal with that at another time.

    Here was my RFE -

    REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE:

INTENT TO MARRY: The petitioner and beneficiary must each provide an original statement (signed and dated) indicated that they plan to marry each other within 90 days of the beneficiary's admission to the the U.S.

PHOTOS: Submit a passport-style photograph for the beneficiary, [name]. The specifications are as follows:

    - Glossy color

    - Plain white background

    - Unretouched

    - Not mounted

    - Full frontal facial image

    - About 1 inch from bottom of the chin to the top of the hair

    - Taken within the past 30 days

So I think my "mistakes" were not sending sponsor intent to marry signed notice and/or personal letter (the instructions I had said just to include beneficiary intent to marry notice and personal letter), and I think the passport photo of my fiancee was professionally retouched by looking at it.

I'm still a little vague on the scrutiny given to passport photos and what sponsor intent to marry letter(s) they are looking for, so any advice or feedback from folks who had similar RFE's would be very welcome.

We already got our NOA2 hard copy.

we got and RFE asking for a LONG FORM of my fiance Birth certificate, and more evidence, as passport stamps and boarding passes, we sent all that and... like 10 days later we got approved!

About the letter of intent must be 2, one signed by the petitioner and the other by the beneficiary, ORIGINAL SIGNATURE.

I use the same letter as the friend posted here. make sure you change the address, names and Date!! (after the NOA2, for the interview; you will need the same letter of intent, just from the petitioner, with the address of the consulate where the interview is gonna take place, and with a new date, and of course original signature)

About the pictures, just go to Walmart or any place like that, ask for passport pictures, they know.... and are ready in less than an hour!

    Good Luck.

    nice nice!!! congratsss

  6. Give them the case # of your I-129F petition from your NOA2. It will start with either WAC or EAC. They should be able to give you your new case# for the consualte and whether or not the petition has been sent there yet.

And you are correct. K-1 applicants do not send anything to the NVC.

    Info on your consualte: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Chile&cty=Santiago

    Thank you alot!!!

What that number is for????? is gonna be my number forever or something like that??

  7. Hmmm i've never heard of that in a K-1 case. Usually he would mail it to you so that you have it for the embassy interview. Maybe someone else has experience with that.

As to your other questions, I don't think you need his original birth certificate. Just a copy or copies of all pages of his passport- which should already been included in the petition that is sent to the embassy. If you want to take the vaccinations you can, but you might want to wait for your medical depending on if the physician in your country will accept the records. For now I would have your fiance send you any paperwork that he has (especially the affadavit of support with proof) If the NOA2 says to send it to the NVC then follow their instructions, but have him send you an original signed form with necessary evidence for your interview. Good luck!

U know what, who read the letter was wrong, never said to send to the NVC-..... My fiancee just read the letter and it says the documents were already sent to the consulate... plopppp

Where can I find the code of my embassy to call NVC and ask for the case number?????

    Thank you AGAINNNNNNNNNNNN

  8. Haha I'm by no means an expert! But I just went through the same thing you guys are going through. They SHOULD have a copy of your full petition that will be forwarded to the embassy, but I made copies of everything just to be safe. Better safe than sorry, and that way your fiancé will be prepared if they ask for something you already sent. Plus send originals of evidence that you only sent photocopies of (e.g. Boarding passes etc)

As for the NVC case number, you don't really HAVE to do anything with it, buys a way to track your cars from the NVC to embassy. It's forwarded to the NVC who assigns it a consulate specific case number (the Tunis embassy's is TNS for example. From there the NvC enters it into their system then sends via DHL your package. I believe te NvC will mail you your case number hard copy, but I wanted mine ASAp so I called. Call at least a week after your noa2 hard copy. Once it reaches the embassy the embassy should contact you or your fiancé but if you want to call and ask if they received your petition it might speed them up. Fr there each embassy is a little different but I think most email packet 3 ( the paperwork you fiancé needs to complete for the interview) each embassy is different so you can research others who went trough the same process. This is all for K-1 only by the way. Sorry for any typos I'm typing this on my iPhone and its hard to read wink.png good luck!!!!

Thank you alot!!! Most of reviews are from Philipines so I just read their experiences. Well so I will just have to wait until the documents get here :)

Should he send me his original Birth Certificate too? just in case?

aaaaaaaaaa. another little thing.. should I take the vaccinations they ask on the website???? before to get to the medial examination?

Well Hope everything happen fast, we cant wait!!! its been soooooooo long! :)

THANK YOU ALOT AGAIN! K1 EXPERT! HAHAH

  9. The 15-30 IS a standard reply. If it's not in their system I think they have to tell you that. I would call every day after you receive your NOA2 hardcopy. It shouldn't take too long to get there. And it typically leaves a few days later for the consulate if everything is in order. I got my NOA2 notification May 10th, received hard copy the 17th, called the 17th and it was already at the NVC with an assigned case number, and left the NVC for the embassy today. So there's a recent time frame. Good luck!

Hi!! I just my fiance just got the hard copy today of NOA2.... Ive been reading the post, but have some questions...

    1. the original copy of the I129f package that my fiance has to send me... what that means... the forms signed? the evidence we sent at first, with the pictures? if they already have that, I still have to take exactly the same to the interview??

    2. Ive been reading about calling to the NVC, ok we got the hard copy today, if he calls and give them all you said .. names, birth dates and the "WAC" number of NOA1.... they are gonna give us a CASE NUMBER... what do I have to do with that number???? call the US embassy in my country??? and give them that number? will they send me a package with that, or give me a date of interview while they get the documents from NVC?????

Im confused about that, please help! you are an expert!!!!!!!!!! you help alot! thanks so much!!!!smile.png

  11. On May 8, 2013, I received a text and email saying they mailed an RFE. Then on May 15, 2013, I received another text and email saying they mailed an RFE. I don't know why they sent two of the same messages on separate days, and I don't know if they are referring to one RFE or two RFEs. I called them on May 8, 2013, and they told me to call on the 16th day from when you got notification of the RFE mailing, which I would call on May 23, 2013.

Anybody, please post if you're getting similar results.

The first email or text is an update, the second text or email is the actual date they SENT the RFE hard copy. just wait to get the hard copy, normally takes about 3 business days.

  12. Hi Everyone,

On May 17, 2013, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested. Meanwhile, processing of this case is on hold until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the evidence requested and a decision is made, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Can anyone help what is Intial Evidence?

1.If that date is the first notice you received, is an update, you will get another notice saying exactly the same and that second one is the actual date they sent the hard copy.

    2. Wait for the hard copy of RFE, they tell you exactly what evidence they need from you, it can be anything! from a missed signature, to more documents, proof.... anything! so just wait for the letter!!

    3. they give you a deadline to response, for me was like 80 days.

    Good luck, and just wait!
