This sounds like an interesting case, my guess is that they need to have another interview with you as your case is now divorce waiver and they did not have your waiver file to review during your original interview, it is not unusual to have interview for divorce waiver so don't worry about this, i think you should go to the interview again and you can try to call them up just to confirm with them before you go for the interview.

Just received the 10 yr card in the mail yesterday, good luck to yall and see you soon for N-400 =)

don't worry and don't be afraid, you have some good documentation so you should definitely send those, you can also go through following post if you have not done so and see if you have anything else you can submit to them, the main thing is just submit all the docs you can and if the marriage was real then no need to worry about it.

I do not think they are good at updating the status online. I got my approval letter last week but status still says "initial review" online. I called them up and they said i can ignore the online status and just wait for the actual card to arrive in the mail which can take up to 60 days.
-
Keep it up CSC! Does anyone know how long it takes to receive the actual card from the time it was approved for CSC? I see some VSC filers got it in less than a week but not sure about CSC.

Rec'd approval letter today! Looks like CSC is finally waking up. Good luck to y'all!

AngelinaGennaro, it sounds like you are filing for K-1, is that right? This forum is for I-751 filers which has different processing time.
-
mimi0418, you should check the latest processing time. If it is beyond processing time, then give them a call.
-
For those of you wondering, what is going on with CSC, here is link for latest processing time. Seems like they are processing Aug 25, 2012 cases (so slow). Meanwhile, VSC is only taking 6 months! Wish I could file there instead.
-
not suprised they are slow with printing cards, CSC is falling way behind on approving cases too, something is going on there, i wish they could send us some announcement so at least we know how long is the wait now

It is recommended that you file for waiver as soon as you receive your final divorce papers if you get this before the 90 day window. See link below for instructions on filing.

I am with you bewildering, I asked earlier what the heck is going on with CSC, but I am not aware of any good reason. It makes absolutely no sense to me that VSC is 70% while CSC has only 6%, but CSC was ahead just few months ago. Oh well, I guess we just have to wait and try not to think about this.

thanks bigdog, I just find it so strange that CSC has 7% while VSC has over 60% completed for Nov 12. WOW

Hi,
I posted this question earlier but somehow it got moved to another forum, I was wondering does anyone know in this forum why CSC is falling a lot behind VSC for ROC filers? I am happy for VSC filers that got approved fast, but I am confused why it is taking so long for CSC filers, including myself. Any idea anyone?
-
weird...i am not a k-1 filer, i am actually ROC filer, i need to fix that if that is in my profile, thanks for pointing that out
-
Hi, just to clarify this question is relevant for ROC filers, hence I posted it in the ROC forum

Hello,
I noticed that VSC is far ahead of CSC in the last few weeks. Oct and Nov 12 is almost 50% completed in VSC but CSC is barely progressing. I am happy for the VSC filers that got their done fast, but I am a CSC filer and I am confused why CSC is taking lot longer now. Does anyone have any idea? Anil

Thanks for the reply.
Is there any other way I can bring spouse here? I am thinking that she could apply for h-1b visa to come here but that might be little hard, does anyone have any suggestion?

Hello,
I tried looking up this question on this forum but could not find clear answer so here it goes. Is it possible for me to bring a spouse from overseas to US if I currently have green card from previous marriage (less than 5 years)?
I got my conditional green card last year from previous marriage but things did not work out and had to get a divorce. Now I requested for I-751 waiver to remove condition and after that is done, I wanted to see if I could go to India to get married there and bring the spouse here. I read somewhere online that you cannot apply with I-130 petition if the previous marriage was less than 5 years. Is this really true? Is there any other way to bring the spouse here if she is indian citizen? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks. Anil
