    i just called USCIS for check if they forwarded our file to NVC/DOS they want my fiancee ( petitioner) authorization before they can give the info....

      Who wanted the information? USCIS or NVC? When NVC asked me for Joan's information that meant that they had the MNL #! Hope that is the same for you!

      The csr of uscis. My fiancee called uscis to ask if the file was forwarded already. The csr said they can't tell if its mailed already. :( Now he's trying to call NVC, how long before u got the case num?

      We called NVC after about a week. I think it was there on the 9th day. I have heard that NVC is going very slow now though.
