Hi, In my case From New Delhi Max hospital ,they took one week time.Some times they take two weeks time you can call them and check when will your report be ready.

another question is my daughter's passport is going to expire in August 2015 and we are planning to visit the sister in Canada in mid of March for a week Time ,so is there any need of renew the Daughter's passport before the Trip OR the same passport(going to expire in August) will serve the purpose?can my daughter travel with this passport(which will expire August)?Pls advise me.

On my interview day at Delhi embassy, the Consulate first asked me who is the petitioner,his job profile,his address about his previous marriage, what was the reason of first time visa denial,how many trips my husband made to meet me in Delhi and where he was staying? how many people attended our marriage, how many children he has from previous marriage? then the consulate started asking questions from my husband about my previous marriage,date of birth of I,the dates of all trips my husband made to meet me in Delhi. The most important question was Why he married with an Indian Girl? why specially Indian?(my husband is a white guy). Then he gave me two papers he said go and read all the information i will ask questions from all this material those papers were about how to deal domestic violence, child abuse in America.After some time he called us again but din't ask any thing gave us one yellow papers that was about the visa approval.

If you planning to join him for interview, it will be too good .Delhi consulates allows Petitioner to attend interview with beneficiary.you take your passport with you that day. The consulate will ask questions from you too so be prepare and your and your husband's answers should match each others.In my case,on my interview day consulate asked some questions from my husband too.

Do you want to buy one way ticket for your husband? one way ticket is good why the return ticket? he will get Cr1 visa , one way ticket is applicable no need of return ticket.And if you want to by one way for you then i think on visit visa both way tickets are required you can check through airlines.

After visa approval on interview day embassy takes 3 to 7 working days to send the passport with visa stamp and one sealed envelope to the passport delivery center.so you calculate all the days and then book your tickets and ask the airlines before making any decision.

Hi, After a long time i have seen your post again.Yes, passport police clearance PCC is the main Embassy needs.It will be added advantage if your husband will get another local police clearance certificate where he resides.In my case the Embassy asked for PCC only.I had another police certificate but the Consulate din't ask for it and when i tried to give him he said he need PCC only. My advise to you is get both it will be beneficial for both of you because your are waiting from a long time to get Visa.

Congrats!Yes, your visa is granted. you got yellow sheet which says your visa has approved so it is. Embassy generally take three days to one week time to get ready with all your documents so that they will give one packet to you with your passport which you have to carry with you to U.S.(you are not allowed to open the packet, you have to hand over at immigration counter after port entry)

Same was in my case ,after visa approval and getting yellow sheet of visa approval my case was on admin process and after five days i got massage in my e-mail id that your passport is ready to pick and visa stamp was on passport and i got one yellow packet contains papers of all my case history.

So don't worry your visa is approved this admin process is just some more days time which Embassy needs to arrange the papers of your case.

PCC from passport office is the main which embassy requires they don't pay attention towards another. In my case they just ask for pcc from passport office when i tried to give another(from local police department ) they say we require this(Pcc from passport office) onlyBut my advise to you will be get both.you can call on embassy help line to know more.

If you never received the cards, you can file I-90, they will send you new cards. There is no fee for the new cards if you never received the original ones.

and also recheck the post office if they can provide you the complete address where they have delivered the cards so that you can contact that address and ask for the cards.You have not received the cards and post office has delivered the cards on wrong address and they also don't have complete address where they have delivered its not that you have lost the cards so you are innocent you will get it free of cost go ahead and claim for it.Make an appointment with USCIS office and go there personally.

The New Delhi consulate does not talk about affidavits. How can people who have divorced on bad terms go around getting affidavits signed by their ex spouses. I have another thread where an individual who had the interview stated that he did not provide previous marriage certificates. I will go without them and see how it goes. I dont know what to do at this point because I know I cannot get the marriage certificates or the affidavits.

I also think you should go with out them and see how it goes. Divorce papers are important,i think you will not find any problem.Good Luck.

In my case, in my previous marriage in India i just had a paper issued from Gurudwara in Punjabi but Embassy didn't ask me to submit the previous marriage certificate just asked for divorce judgment sheet with decree of termination of previous marriage and the current marriage certificate with marriage registration certificate.

If you don't mind may i know what had you submitted in the court to proof you people were married to get divorce? if it was strong evidence related with your previous marriage then you two can get certified copy of that evidence from the court .

Hi All Vj friends,I had entered in U.S. on IR1 Visa and my daughter on IR2 visa and we got our Green cards valid for ten years. We want to go to Canada to meet my sister so for this to get visa to Canada first or we can go with out it ,the Green card will work?

yes, your wife will be allowed to be with you during the interview.My husband was (USC) with me interview time .Delhi Embassy allows the petitioner to be with beneficiary at interview time but not Mumbai embassy. .And about the interview questions check other vj members posts you will get all questions .

I totally agree with deep 2009.I am an indian, belongs from skin religion ,my second marriage was attended by only 4 ,5 people my blood relation people only.
