We had our interview yesterday morning. We were told we were approved, but ceac shows AP. But I have read that it always shows that while they are preparing and printing the visa. I pray this is the case and not that we will be stuck and I will have to return home alone.

Interview date is Sept. 2nd. I have a question about the shipping of visas after the interview. My wife and stepdaughter both have a case number. My wife signed up online as required with her case number, but did not see a place to add my stepdaughter. Does anyone know if we need to setup a separate shipping waybill for my stepdaughter? Thanks

I filed in April 2013 and am just getting our interview on Sept 2nd...almost a year and a half...so hang on..there are many of us who have waited along time

wow...such a difference in information they give. It really is criminal what they are doing to us. And just imagine, they are giving illegals plane tickets and bus tickets to get to different places in America...how bout they give my wife a damn plane ticket and bring her to me? We are really getting screwed here.

So I called this morning and was told that Sept. scheduling is over and I didnt get in. I am crushed. So even though CC about two weeks ago, still nothing. I am just dumbfounded at the incompetence or lack of give-a-$hit of the US immigration system for LEGAL immigration. How hard is it to have a damn shared calendar and to schedule the damn thing the same day you give a CC?

SO I was reading that the USCIS is approving some petitions in a months time. That is probably one of the reason the NVC is flooded with new approva

And to think about what you and I went through with them.

Its crazy that we have to wait for them to schedule our interview date when it seems like other types of case filers can go to ustraveldocs.com and schedule their own interviews. They should send the files the same day they give case completes and let us go online and schedule. Makes too much sense right? I got case complete last Wednesday and I cannot find the patience to wait for interview date! Come on NVC!!!

Did call after getting the interview date email to get the date moved up or did you call just after getting case complete?

How long did it take from case complete to when they informed you of your interview date?

Called today. CASE COMPLETE! Last doc scan date is June 19. I wonder how long it has been taking to get interview dates scheduled. Hoping for a Sept. date but the wife thinks October. I will look back through threads, but if anyone knows what the latest trend is, please reply. Thanks

i have got a checklist for 13 a. though i have put the exact amount from my 1040 line 22 ( total income) in the 2013 tax column. I called NVC and the rep did not have accurate answer and simply ask me to do it again and send it. Does not make sense to me. huh

I got a checklist for the same thing. My lawyer took the total adjusted gross income and put it on my paperwork. You can only do this if you file a 1040EZ form to the IRS. I filed a regular 1040 and was supposed to put total income only. Losing a whole month because of it. Its ridiculous!

I bet they are still fast tracking the "dreamers" paperwork to drive up the number of approvals and leaving us behind. Illegals first, us last. Yes, I am incredibly bitter and wishing some pretty bad Karma on those who are dragging their feet on our case. The system is so jacked up.

Aren't you way beyond 30 business days though?

Not since i sent in my checklist docs. This whole process is incredibly inefficient. I should have been able to email the reviewer a pdf of the needed docs and they could have closed my case within an hour. This bs of putting it in the mail is ridiculous!

NVC told me today that they are pretty much taking the full 30 business days to review mail because they are backlogged. FML

If only had I been smart enough to send my wife and stepdaughter to mexico last year and had them promise to vote Democrat, they could have walked across and have been here for a year already!

My wife is devastated...my stepdaughter will have to start the school year again overseas. She is sure now that there is no way we can get checklist reviewed and an interview date in August. It will be Sept. or Oct. and I am not sure I can tell her she is wrong. NVC is going soooo slow. I wish they gave a ####### about how they are just adding to the pain that we all feel. How ridiculous that they just cant send an email and we cant just send one back with a corrected pdf? This is the 21st Century for goodness sake. Such an antiquated system of having to push so much damn paper. I cant even breathe right now

But if you filed 1040ez then it should have been Adjusted Gross income and not total gross income per form i864, no?

No, i do alot of freelance work...i could not file 1040ez. I cant believe another month just got added. And I cannot get my lawyer on the phone.

It says its for Item 13.a.1 Total gross income reported. I think my lawyer put my adjusted gross, not my total gross. I'm so sick! It will take another whole damn month to get the checklist reviewed! I dont know how to tell my wife this bad news

I cant take it...I just got email checklist. I feel like a knife has been plunged into my heart. No chance now to get my wife here in August. Lawyers are worthless!
