We met through Christian Cafe, corresponded via email, then phone, then Renee came to Australia, we married and she returned to Texas while I waited for paperwork etc (4 months apart). Were told by Immigration lawyer from NY it would be 2-4 weeks. Yeah, right !
Arrived via Dallas Fort Worth Airport. Great interview, great officer. Applied for EAD after few weeks and had biometrics etc. Received EAD and started working. Have applied for EAD renewal.
We thought we had to file i 751 Removal of Conditions (oops!) and received it back in mail, so now waiitng for scheduled InfoPass appointment to file AoS i 485 on 9/30/05.
We have been blessed by ther Lord on our Journey.
Infopass was a disaster...told we were at wrong place...made another appointment and filed ok.
Attended for biometrics 12/20/05.
