Hello alepenaflor, we just match what my husband has on his medical record and what was on the list of the vaccinations required. He has all of them except flu shot. So i think this will be the only one they will give him, hopefully. But we r not sure if this will be ok for them.

Hello, that is correct none of us, in mexico and US received the letter. Is this normal?
-
Simply print that letter off, I did the same thing, wasn't a problem at all!!!
hi Fabiola252, we did print the letter, but the woman at the clinic said she will not let us do the medical exam if we do not have the original from the consulate. I am just wondering if the one the consulate prints at the information window will be the same as the one I print. I mean will they print it on their letterhead paper and will it have the logo or something?
Thank you for replying.

that is so typical of Mexico. Always asking for originals of everything. lo siento compadre.
Hello,
Did you also go through the same thing? I am seriously stressing out. I scheduled everything so we would not stress that much in Ciudad Juarez, with the medical exam on Monday, the biometrics on Tuesday, and the interview on Thursday. Now the clinic is asking me for the original interview letter. I told them I only received the email copy, but they were very firm and a little rude, that I need the original letter and without it my husband cannot take the medical exam
.We are planning to go the consulate and ask them to print us a copy on Monday. But I am afraid we will not be able to get to the medical appointment on time. I am not sure how long will this take or if this is only something that this clinic, Medicos de Visas is asking or if all the other clinics are the same. I would really appreciate some help from anyone.
thank you,

Hello everyone. I need help please. The interview is on dec 11 and we scheduled the medical at Medicos de Visas for monday dec 8. I just got a call from the clinic and they said we MUST have the original letter stating that the interview date. The problem is that we never received the letter in the mail. I only received an email copy of the letter. The clinic said we cannot use the email printed copy and to go to the consulate to get an original letter. Can someone please tell me if they experienced the same thing? Now we are thinking we might loose the medical appt. :-( .
Please let me know.

My last scan date is Aug 15... Is there anyone else from Aug 15 or around the same time as me? I called NVC yesterday and was told there is no update on my case. Then I called again today and I was told that it is under review, but no further details. Does anyone know about how much longer do I need to wait to know if my case is complete or if I am missing anything? I am planning on calling back tomorrow. I just hate to wait on hold for about 1 hour, but hopefully it will be good news.

Hello everyone, I got my NVC case number today. I was getting ready to call and then I received two emails from NVC giving me the case number and telling me to pay $88 for the AOS (affidavit of support).

Just bring an updated I-864 to the interview if you change jobs. Bring any new pay stubs and an employment letter with as well.
Added.
Added. Where was your case approved from? You've got California on your profile, Vermont on your timeline, and a local office in your signature.
Hi Saylin,
I changed the profile. My application was sent to phoenix az, then it was transferred to NBC, then to Nebraska Service Center and approved on 2/14. NVC received it on 2/25/14.
thank you

Post Decision Activity
On February 14, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice.....
My priority date is May 17, and the application was transferred to the Nebraska center on Dec 12. Now I am just waiting for the letter to see what my next step is.

Omg I just checked our application and it says
"On December 12, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRATION PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing."
I feel this whole process is finally coming along and I can start to see the light. I am from Los Angeles, and my husband is in Mexico. My priority date is May 17.

Hello Everyone,
I just got off the phone with USCIS and I am very confused, maybe someone can help me.
I called in august to inquire about my case and I was told that it was in Missouri. I asked when was it transferred because the letter I got came from Kansas. So after awhile of being on hold, the agent told me that it was in Kansas, then in Missouri, and now back to Kansas. I thought this was weird but I just let it go. So now I call back today and the agent on the phone tells me that my case is in Missouri. So I asked her the same question, when was it transferred, and she does not see that information, but tells me that I should have gotten a letter, which I never received. She then told me that right now applications are taking 1 year, and they are processing October 2012. I asked to be transferred to a tier 2. The tier 2 officer was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. She told me that my case was in Lincoln, Nebraska. I asked why have I been given different responses regarding the location of my case and she told me she does not know, and sarcastically said I should call the two agents I spoke to and ask them myself. Then I told her I did not get a letter regarding my case being in Lincoln, Nebraska. And she said she did not know why and if I was done, do I have any more questions, all the while talking very rude to me. I told her please calm down and be polite and she got even more upset and told me, since you have no other questions have a good day and I told her wait and she did not care and said by Mrs. XXXX and hanged up on me. I called back again and spoke to another agent, who apparently could not give me the information of where is my case, but told me to report the incident with the Tier 2 and gave me the information of where to report it. So now I am very confused, I do not know where is my case. I do not know if these people were lying about the location and just assumed all the applications go to the same place. Or if my case has been transferred around and I did not get notified. What should I do? I know I am going to call back again tomorrow, but in reality they are not helpful at all. Please can someone help me. thank you.

Hello Everyone.
On Friday I called the USCIS number 800 -375- 5283 and after many attempts I was finally able to speak to someone. But it was not helpful at all. At first the representative told me that my file was at the National Benefits Center in Lee Summits Missouri. I asked him if this was new information since the only letter I have received is the form I-797C and my file was sent to the National Benefits Center in Overland Park. So he asked if he could put me on hold, and when he came back he apologized because he made a n assumption regarding where my file was sent to. (Obviously I did not like that, since it gave me the impression that he was really not looking into my file). So I asked him if he sees that anyone has taken a look at my file and he said no. He can only see the same information I see online. He then told me that he spoke to his supervisor when he put me on hold and he was told that there is a high volume of petitions and the estimated time is a minimum of 6 months and the only advice he could give me was to wait. He really was not helpful at all.

Hello Everyone, I am hoping someone can help me or direct me on where to go to.
I filled for the I-130 on May 17, 2013. My husband and I got married in December of last year, but we have been a couple since 2005. He is in Mexico and I live in the US. Recently I was there in Mexico because he was very sick and in the hospital. After I came back, I cannot stop thinking about our current situation and if God forbid something worse happened and I would not be there with him. Or worse, we have never really lived together for a long time, like other couples. I am considering moving with him in Mexico for 4-6 months and coming back here after that time. My question is, would this choice affect the application process? Would I have to tell USCIS to postpone/cancel until I return? Or can the petition continue even though I will not be here? I know I have to submit an affidavit of support, but I am not sure if I can do this even if I do not have a long time working at the job after I come back. I really need someone to help me with this or direct me in the right direction. I will greatly appreciate all the help that anyone gives me.
thank you.

Hello Everyone, I see that mostly everyone knows to which National Benefits Center their petition was transferred. I checked my letter and I do not see anywhere that it says where was it sent to. Can someone please tell me how you found out. Am I supposed to receive another letter? I have only gotten 1 letter and it was the Form I-797C which is the receipt that my petition was received. Can someone please help me.
thank you.
Never mind to my previous posting. I had my sister read it, and she found it immediately. Sorry everyone.

Hello Everyone, I am also from May. My priority date is May 17. Good luck to everyone.

thank you speedwell for your response. I have been reading a lot of forums and I have a list of all the things I have to do. I will start gathering all the remaining documents and items, and I guess just wait for them. And yes I sent my application to Arizona. I am really hoping my husband can be with me by the end of the year

thank you.

Hello Everyone,
I am curious to see how many people here are filling for their relative from Mexico and about how long has the process taken so far?
I just submitted my paperwork last week on Friday and I got the email today that my I-130 was sent to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing. I was juts wondering how long has the process taken for other people from Mexico. I have been told by different people that it usually takes longer for people filling for someone from Mexico, but I do not know if this is true. Does anyone know anything about this?
thank you,
Linda

Hello Everyone,
I just want to update this post. My husband had his medical exam on 12/8/14. We actually went to the consulate at 7:30 am and they were able to print the letter for us. This only took about 5 min, waiting in line and them printing it. For the medical exam we went to Medicos de Visas. They asked for the letter, my husband's passport, his vaccination record, and a paper with his address and my address. So incase anyone is wondering, yes you do need the letter. But you can print the actual letter that you receive in your email and take it. My husband got 4 vaccines. One of them was the influenza vaccine because of the season. He had all his vaccines but they still made him get the 4 vaccines.
