Congratz on the NOA2!
But where in Germany is the lovely and sunny spring day? Sure not Hamburg...
-
Chapeau.
-
I went through CSC, so I'm not 100% sure if this is the correct adress, but that's what I found... :
U.S. Department of Homeland Security
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
Vermont Service Center
75 Lower Welden St.
Saint Albans, Vermont 05479
source: http://uscis.gov/graphics/fieldoffices/vermont/aboutus.htm
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Weekdays it's 3 times a day.
Call in the morning (my morning). Chat at work (since gmail has this neat chat function; before that we sent emails). Then emails in our respective evenings.

Hallo Ilka!
Sandra

Hi Paul!
A very important factor about how fast a k-1 visa is processed is the Service Center you're going through. Where in the States are you?

Both. Though I have a preference for Target because I love their home decoration stuff.

Hi everybody!
I'm just filling out form DS-156 from my packet 3 and was wondering what the "National Identification Number" for Germany is (and if there is one at all)?
Thank you!

I know how you're feeling - it drove me crazy to wait for any sign of life from the CSC while others from Vermont were getting approved in no time. But the other posters are right, though it might seem like forever, the date hasn't been on dec 31 for THAT long.
It helped me quite a bit to be on the CSC/TSC Unite! waiting list thread over on the "General Discussion" forum ( http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...topic=57&st=210 ). So I could always see if others with a NOA1 date close to mine were getting approved (or not).
Greetz,
Sandra

Congrats!

Welcome to VJ, Kat!
Wow, now THAT is an interesting meeting-story! And geez, I wish I was half as active as you are - I feel like such a couch-potato reading your post.

Hi Kat!
I'm not a big photoshop expert but I thought I'd give it a try. I assume you need the pic for Visajourney.

Aaawww, that's wonderful news! I bet it was funny to watch each other freak out on cam, hehe.

Voted "no" for the simple reason that I don't think that it is technically possible.
And I'd hate to see some old politicians decide about what is "lewd" material and what not.
