    Every reciept number before and after mine has been approved what the heck

      you are driving yourself crazy trying to estimate something that nobody here will be able to answer.. you need to call uscis and find out if your file was transferred to your local office.. if you filed in September for a cr-1 you are outside normal processing times now.. me: pd feb 5 noa2 april 19

    hi everyone,can one apply for a visitors visa,and go spend some time with my fiancee then come back and complete the k1visa process or that might complicate the process?

      they are two totally different visas which technically have no impact on one another, but with a fiancée, the visitor visa is always hard to get but not impossible

    cancelled info pass recd letter from senator that they have opened a case inquiry and for me to allow 30-60days... So i figure if the senator has made an inquiry I can wait until the 30-60 days and then it will be 6-7 months and I think that will be the end of my patience.

    My fiance messaged me on Viber this morning and told me to check our status at USCIS site, this is what we received: On April 22, 2013, your ALIEN REGISTRATION NUMBER was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). I'm wondering if this will mean an RFE?

      I have read about this happening with other folks too, hopefully the next thing you will get is your approval in the mail.. it usually just means your case was accessed, but maybe someone else will chime in

    Our petition for CR1 was sent to NBC for processing. How can we track processing times for them?

      good luck with that one :( your petition will most likely get sent forward to your local field office for processing.. that is where you will be able to see some volume charts, but nothing like the dates listed for other centers.. dont worry, there are a lot of us in the same boat.. i call uscis every now and then to see what is going on which is how i found the local office now has it

      You're welcome! If you spend time on the site you will eventually see that there are many individuals who have the same issue we do. Being that you are at the VSC, your time should be coming very soon so congratulations in advance. Should you wish to check your case status you can always call the USCIS.. dont press anything and you will eventually get a live agent (csr). When you ask for a case status check you will be transferred to a tier 2 (io) who will be able to check your cas...
