Yes those were tax return transcripts. Actually, I started the mortgage before my wife arrived so don't have her name on the mortgage statements. But do have the same address on the licenses, insurance cards, other bills etc

We had send all the standard list of docs for i751 that were listed in VJ forums such as tax docs, car and medical insurance statements, life insurance details, photos etc. Below is the exact list of docs I send out.
 
Copies of the passport and green card of my wife
Copy of the tax statement for 2014 with W2.
Copy of the tax statement for 2015 with W2.
Copy of the IRS tax refund check and direct deposit to our joint account.
Letter from my employer certifying my wife as the sole beneficiary for my life insurance policy.
Letter from my employer certifying my wife as the sole beneficiary for my 401k savings.
Additional life insurance statements.
Copy of our car insurance statement.
Copy of our joint bank account statement, previous 12 months.
Copy of our health insurance cards.
Copy of my wife's cell phone bills and the payments I made.
Copy of our vacation itinerary on June 2015.
Copy of our flight ticket itinerary of our joint travel on September 2015 and November 2014.
Sworn affidavits by a relative and a friend.  
Photographs of me and wife taken together throughout the past 2 years.
 
 
We included sworn affidavits but they were not notarized. 
I was also bit surprised they were asking specifically for will and Power of Attorney docs, so working to get those.
Does anybody know if I need to go to a lawyer for it or services such as legalzoom will handle very thing? Anyway, I will be calling legalzoom soon and will post the details, might be helpful for someone.

Our package to VSC was received on 4/9 and we havn't received any updates yet. My wife's green card was set to expire next Monday.
We decided to make an infopass appointment at our local USCIS office, hoping to get an I551 stamp. We took the I-791 receipt notice (the one from USPS) as our only proof.
When we met the officer, we were told, unless our number is in the system, they cannot do any thing. But to our big surprise, our number was in the system, and was updated today morning! They told the check should be cashed in 1-2 days! Finally, some good news!
To complete the story, they issued us the I551 stamp with validity for 6 months. It also looked totally different from the 1 year I551 she got during the CR1 process. We also ended up surrendering the about to expire green card. They said this stamp will be sufficient for permanent residence and any travel for the next 6 months.
Not sure the 1 year extension we will receive as part of NOA1 will ensure the validity for an additional 6 months, or do we have to get another i551 stamp after 6 months.
Anyway, seems like VSC should send updates shortly.

Our package was delivered on April 9 at VSC, but still havn't got any updates. Check is not cashed and no NOA1 or receipt letter... Hope will see some movements soon...

My wife's card expires 5/8.. hope to get the 1 year extension before it..
In case if we did not get the 1 year extension, what are the next steps?

For us where my wife is from India, the medical can be done only after we receive and interview letter. We need to present that to the medical institution for the medical check up.
