I am so happy... yes I am prepared as much as I can be... all ready. i am waiting for Les to send his papers (should post them tomorrow.. have you been to the embassy yet?

We got our NOA2 today!!!!!!

When you say 'panel physician' you mean the one the embassy requires? As I dont have any records of shots apart from a tetanus shot in 1994 .. I will need a test.. I know I had had all those required by NZ immunisation schedule... as Ive been here since I was very young. Both my parents have passed though, so no idea which childhood GP there even was that we were under.

I have moved a couple of times since childhood and started a search for any possible vaccination records.. so far a dead end. I was considering going to my GP for a blood test ... or waiting to see the doctor that the Embassy asks you to see....

Were you able to get a test for the vaccinations you had no evidence of having had? or did you simply get another shot?

Hi... no we are still waiting.. I will certainly post when it comes. I too have questions about the lack of updating. I think they should withdraw profiles that have no activity for say 3 months ...

So how are things going? Have you received the packets yet? what are they asking? is there anything I can do in advance... no NOA2 yet here... still waiting....

We put in a Service request.. but I dont think they offer anything in reality. USCIS said to call back on the 27th if still nothing.... so we keep waiting... and waiting... what vaccinations are required?

Wonderful news for you though.. I hope you will share what the packets ask for.... maybe I can then pre-prepare.....once you get the NOA 2 then it is just a matter of time.. but at least that time is reasonably predictable. Exciting!

Did you get any response to your question about changing the petition to a spousal? we have considered the same ... by the way, Im in Wellington in the very slim chance you are too.

It's hard isnt it. I really want to get on with my life and to do so means still weeks here to pack, ship finish work and sort things with family... and that is jsut the start. I think we are certainly better off than those just starting out.... imagine having 7-8 months ahead! At least for us it's a few weeks at most (hopefully). Are you working?

We have applied in the same time frame... I have been looking for others that are patiently waiting for their NOA2 that may be going to a similar part of the States as I am... I've visited Seattle it's gorgeous... How are you surviving the waiting?
