Do I wait to see if our interview is this month or next month? Before joining?
-
Do I need to move to another page now?
-
You must insist they transfer you or you will file a complaint about them. I've gotten into yelling matches with them before. *sigh*
Yes they do! That's why they sak you all of your info. They are not suppose to note negative comments, but the reason why you call.

WOW! Thats FAST
06-MAR-2013 13:11 IV $230.00 PAID

I believe the DFA has fast track passport processing but you have to pay extra... She can also change her passport name here, that's what I did when I moved here..(",)
We will do that then. Will it affect her VISA?

http://manila.usemba...orrections.html
wonder if the Philippines has a service like this.
-
She REALLY wants my name on it.
Can she do it after she gets here?
-
Where can she do it?? ASAP??
-
The green card from what I understand will be issued in whatever the passport name is in at the time the visa is issued. Correct me if I'm wrong peeps, but that is my understanding. We opted to go ahead and change the passport ahead of time and send in the name change request so that it will all be right when she gets here. You are so close, I dont think I would mess with it now, could just slow the whole thing down.
I'll have her check.

Luzon, close to Dagupan
-
Wife is in the Philippines
-
I am awake in California, talking to my wife 6950 miles away..
-
I wish her married name was on it
-
They use the name that is on the passport you submitted, if you changed her passport send a copy by email with a request to change name. It took them 5 days to change my wifes name.
WOW! Was that getting a new passport in hand? Wonder if we should do it? Before or after? She's in Dagupan area.

None of the above. Wait till the case arrives at Manila and ask THEM what to do.
Guessing they will notify us somehow.
I have been checking status on here, not sure how up to date it is
-
Ahh, I see now. The previous URL was throwing me off, but it redirects from the ustraveldocs site, so it's all good
Wonder if I should book it or wait to hear from the NVC or wait till payment clears...
-
Congrats!
Btw, I got this email and I was wondering if you got the same too. Also, are we the one to call the US Embassy Manila for interview schedule or the NVC will gives us...
Saylin, i'm always thankful for your guidance. Maybe you know what's next, i really appreciate any info..(",) ohhhh, i had twin babies and somebody in the family had cancer that's why I need my mom the soonest possible..
"Dear Sir/Madam:
The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: MNLxxxxxxx filed by MXxxxxxx on behalf of Axxxxxxx.
The U.S. Embassy/Consulate General has accepted this case for expedited processing. This file will be immediately forwarded to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General. Any further questions concerning processing or the interview appointment date should be directed to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate General.
Please note that the U.S. Embassy or Consulate General may still request additional forms or fees at the time of your interview. Please be prepared to submit any missing forms and pay any required fees at the time of your interview. "

this is the standard scheduling portal for Manila IV.
No worries there.
Since yer expedite at NVC was approved, you may run into some problem between NVC and Manila IV , with Manila IV actually receiving the casefile prior to interview day.
So, Be Prepared to sling a full set of everything (I-130, G-325, DS-230, I-864, photos, evidence, etc) on the visit for the interview day, just in case Manila IV hasn't received the casefile from NVC.
Wonder if I need to wait to schedule?
I'll make sure my wife has EVERYTHING, I was hoping to be there for the interview.
I am guessing I could try for next Thursday, and hope to get her medical done on Monday/Tuesday(Wednesday if needed) and then the Interview on Thursday. Considering it is the same scheduling as the NVC.
I haven't heard from the NVC, and not sure when I would. I received the news from calling.

Where on the Manila site did you see it? Are you sure it just wasn't an ad you accidentally clicked on? Cause, personally, it looks like a phishing site to me or one of those get-a-visa-quick sites that just take your money (and possibly information) and do absolutely nothing for you.
clicked on Visa's and it took me here http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html, then "If you have already filed a petition or have had a petition filed for you, and your case is current, please see the Immigrant Visa Appointment section on the left side of this page." So I did and then http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html then in this paragraph :Scheduling Appointments for IV or K Petitions
To schedule a visa appointment for IV or K petitions, please contact the Embassy’s Visa Information and Appointment Service at (632) 982-5555 or (632) 902-8930. The Visa Information and Appointment Service is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Manila time), except on Philippine and U.S. holidays. Callers in the U.S should call (214) 571-1600, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
You must have the case number, passport number, and passport expiry date for each applicant (principal applicant and derivative family members) ready when requesting for a visa appointment.
You can also get information and book an appointment online at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph.
which took me there http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/
Thoughts?

That doesn't look like a real government site

Darn it! It's for a IR-1. It was on the http://manila.usembassy.gov/ site.
That sucks, oh well. I can wait a few days.
