    That's really weird. Having his name on the lease solely as a resident causes them no harm. So he can live with you without a background check ... then what's the problem with listing him? Sorry, this comment is for me being dumbfounded, not helpful for you. :(

    ^^ I would try that, but not the second part. Just an acknowledgment with contact information that has has indeed lived there. Sorta like an affidavit? Maybe get some of those from some close friends/coworkers stating that you've been living together at the same location for the past X years. Yes, affidavits don't carry as much weight as solid evidence, but hey, every little bit helps.

    two years’ tax transcript.

    joint credit cards and statements thereof.

     

    we submitted all the mails have both our name and address on it (att and joint accounts statements, some electricity bills). 

    And  tons of photos for traveling and celebration.

     

    there is no way I can get lease rental agreement for RFE.  I don’t know what to do.

    New evidence may include updated joint account statements, credit card statements, att statements for both cell and cable.  

    My 401k just started in June and I have the beneficiary blank until today. My previous employer didn’t provide 401 k.

     

    Life insurance certificate with my hubby’s name on it, but it is fairly new (March, 2017). Many updated photos as well, which may have little to none  help.

     

    The attorney is trying to do some affidavits attesting my lease and rental situation, but who knows if it will work.

     

    I am super stressed.  My job demands 100% focus but I cannot even fall asleep at all right now. My hubby is very sad to see me like this.

     

    I understand that your husband cannot be added as a leasee, but can he just be added to the lease contract as an additional resident? When hubby first moved here, my complex would not add my husband as a leasee until he had a pay stub, so I had him listed under additional residents and that seemed to be sufficient for what USCIS is looking for - that you're still living together. Hope that is a possible solution!

    I apologize that I have not been active on here in quite some time. I was really frustrated with the backlog and just needed a break from it all.

     

    Hubby's case was approved 10/11 and the card was sent 10/13. He got it in hand 10/19. :)

     

    I was also very confused by the new people added to CSC at the top who sent it off in June?? Whatevs. haha

    Received date, 7/5/16. NOA 7/16/16. Biometrics about a month later.

     

    Two days ago I went into my local office for an Infopass... after waiting and waiting and waiting for my turn, the lady looked at my paperwork, told me to go sit back down in the waiting area, I waited and waited and waited some more, and she finally got back to me with a stamped passport, good until July 2018.

     

    Crossing my fingers for a speedy process for all of us!

     

    I also plan on filing N400 as soon as I hit my three years, regardless of I-751 approval.

    Welcome! I have added you to the CSC waitlist. haha. Also, you don't have to wait til you hit your 3 year anniversary date to file N-400. Your early filing window opens 90 days before that. :)

It appears that the average processing time is 304 days, from the date of filing to the date of approval. The maximum time is 320 days and the minimum is 283 days.     If you filed on 07/01/2016, expect approval around 05/01/2017

    If you filed on 07/18/2016, expect approval around 05/18/2017

    It's just a coincidence that the expected approval day of the month is the same day in the month of filing. This is because 304 days is also the number of days from 1 July 2016 to 30 April 2017. So basically, hold on tight guys. We should be seeing some action next month!

    So my initial estimate of Cinco de Mayo approvals may be correct!  :lol:

    Yep, that's a good idea. I always make copies of everything. I would probably include documentation showing that you've filed for ROC (such as the NOA1) and a cover page explaining that the new GC hasn't been received due to backlog. We're eligible June 1st, so we better get started!

    Yes you can. It's supposed to kickstart the approval of the ROC. You can file 90 days before your 3 year resident anniversary.

    I REALLY hope my transfer doesn't mean I've been put to the back of the line with March 2017 filers...I would scream. 

    Pretty sure RFE notifications should be sent out soon before approvals start coming in, if not at the same time. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    That's disheartening. I haven't checked the processing tables and have just been checking my USCIS app and checking in here about once a month, so I had no idea it was stuck on the same date for months. Fingers crossed these June filer approvals are a good sign that their wheels have been greased and they're starting to review more applications now than being at a standstill. People who filed around the same time I did for CR-1 (and months after) have gotten the shaft every time now when it comes to backlogs and we'll likely experience the same thing for the N-400. Bahhh.

    Sometimes they don't update those timelines for a while since they're behind on practically everything. I trust user experience on here more than their timeline. If people in June started to get approved and more start trickling in, but the processing time still says May 31st for CSC, then I believe VJ over USCIS.

    1. You can file while the I-751 is still processing. Apparently, the N-400 will basically kickstart the I-751 and they'll process it and either approve or send an RFE before they begin to work on the N-400 file.

    2. Yes, it's true. We plan to file in May (August POE here), and it seems more and more likely that we won't get the 10 year GC any time soon.

    I know it's frustrating, but I think all bets are off... I won't be at all surprised if I have to file for naturalization before I get my 10yr greencard. And yes, I filed at CSC.

    That might just be the case - filing for citizenship while the GC is still processing. Ugh. And then our wave from the last backlog to this backlog will likely hit another on the way out of immigration. Hooray!

    No problem! ^_^ This community helped me so much with filing processes and tracking cases to get an idea of the wait time, so whatever information I receive, I pass onto others. I have no idea how people who don't use this site or other similar ones can just file without help and be left in the dark!

    You should call USCIS, it may have been an error but honestly I doubt any of us know for real. They should be able to tell you on the phone or make an infopass appointment if you have the time. I'm sure everything should be fine.

    So, I just came back from having my biometrics appointment. I am a bit lost, now what? I know we are supposed to wait but is there a timeline on that?, do they update a case status online with the tracking numbers on our biometrics appointment?

    Now we wait. CSC is averaging about 6 months. And yes, they update the case status though sometimes it lags and you may receive the GC before they update it. I track mine with the USCIS App. Use the 2nd case number on your biometrics letter. The 1st one should match the one from your NOA1 I believe.
