Congrats you guys
I am really happy and excited for you to start your new lives together.
I am in the same boat as you, he will leaving his family to come here and it is so bitter sweet because he has such an awesome family. As soon as he is able to travel after we are married and the waiting time to the OK for him to travel out of the country we will fly back and visit them as often as we can. It seems so easy and exciting thinking about our fiance getting here but when reality sets in i have to agree it is scary but a happy scary if that makes sence.....
I can't imagine what it is going to be like when my fiance gets here, I think i will run and jump on him and knock him over in front of everyone in the airport... LOL.

Hello VJ Fam.
I am not sure what is happening with our packet and hope that I can get some answers from someone.
I called the NVC this morning because our packet is still there. It arrived on Sept 11th (after taking 5 weeks for them to put in the system) and they gave me our visa case number and when I check on line it says it is still at NVC, so when I called I asked why has it not been sent on to the Embassy and she said it was in AP.... I asked her if it was normal and she said yes it was and I asked when would it be going to the Embassy and she said there is no time line for that, I asked will it be like a month, she said there is no time line!!!! I never heard of this and I am starting to wonder if something is wrong. Has anyone else had this happen and is this really normal? I was so excited that things were moving along and now I am freaking out!!!!! Please let me know if anyone of you have gone throught this and what it means.

Wow!!!!! this must be a new thing with the NVC, I was reading another post on here a couple days ago asking the same thing. We are all waiting and wondering what is happening...... I am going to call tomorrow and see what i can find out again. Lets all keep each other posted if anything happens. It is so awesome to have VJ friends go through this together makes it a bit easier knowing that we are not alone.

OMG!!!!! That is Awesome news.............. CONGRATS!!!!!! We are praying that we get are NOA2 soon so that we can get on with the process of him getting here so we can finally be together, Thank you for the encourgement we really need it.
Was the interview easy and what questions did thy ask? We are going through Ankara and heard that the people there were nice. Any information you can pass along would be great and Congrats again!!!!

that is great if it is true, How do you know this??? I pray that you are right. I just sent my packet in a week ago and I am prepared in my mind to be waiting 8 to 10 months but hey if this is really happening YAHOOOOOOOOOO Lets pray your right......
