  1. good morning to all and Happy Thanksgiving

I have a question, and hopefully someone here has knowledge of this,

Here it is.....I read a while ago, that on the interview date, and after the interview, a fee must be paid at the american embassy, the amount was/ / is for 150 dollars, I'm sayng these because my wife's interview is on December 9th, in Colombia, and is her with two children, I won't be able to be there because my job did not allow me to leave in such short notice.....so I wanna make sure my wife has what she needs...

    I will appreciate any responses

    Thanks

  2. good afternoon everyone

I just called NVC and found out that my wife case is completed, but they are reviewing the children ( i'm bringing two children with her), they told me , all they waiting for a case complete is the children paperwork to catch up with my wife's.

My only concern, is that they also told me that I was missing the passport photocopy of one of the children, the DS-260, but I know for sure I did sent it, I sent everyone's together, and I tripled checked everything, about the DS-260 I also filled on line, the same day as the others, I guess I just have to call back and confirm the good news, it's a good feeling, but is not completed yet, but it will.

My scan date was August 27th.....so I know a lot of us are getting our cases complete this week....

I will keep posting any news...

Thanks and good luck to everyone.

  3. Good morning to all,

My case was sent to NVC back in April, 2014, since them I have done all that was requested, including a re-send of AOS forms, due to a misinterpretation, this forms I send back in July and was received by NVC on August 3rd, I also paid de IV fees, and filled the form 260, this process includes my wife and two children, so I have made all payments, filled all necessary forms, and when i call them , NVC replies is like everybody's else, wait for 60 days, now I've read thru the pages of this forum that packages are scanned, what do this mean?, they only told me that they got the packages on certain dates but did no say anything about being scanned, so can someone please explain .....are the packages being scanned as they are received? or NVC receives them and scan the documents later?, that has me confused.........i'll appreciate any answers, thanks.

  4. Hello everyone.....reporting back to this thread, I have been in NVC since April - 2014, so I am starting my fifth month in here, so far I sent the IV package and has been received by NVC,

Later today I will call them to find out what's the status of my AOS package (I made a mistake by resetting in the CEAC website, which showed :"incomplete", even when I called them about that situation they still made me wait 30 business days, which actually delayed my process).

I also committed another error when filing the financial package on my AOS, I had too many people on the form , where it says how many persons = family are accompanying the beneficiary (my wife is coming with my two stepsons), Each one of them have to have their own form filled up, and they do not to be added together.

Well nothing the less, I made the necessary corrections and now kust have to keep waiting to see if they are accepted and completed. Then it's just a matter of time to see when the AOS package be reviewed, accepted and completed.

A long journey, which at moments causes problems with our patience.

Hope for the best and will keep praying for each forum member to end this painful moment in our lives.

  5. Good morning everyone...I'm new on this thread, just got my approval a couple of days ago....now trying to get all the information so I can go forward with the process....I have a question..in the IV package says that I must send birth, marriage and police records as well as 2 passport pictures , now the question is...I'm petitioning for my wife and two children, do I have to send their pictures and birth certificates as well?, I did send those in the original package, except my wifes birth certificates, I did sent the marriage certificate, but I'm a little confuse if i have to send them again...

    thanks

  6. good morning everyone, back home after spending a week with my wife, now waiting to go forward with the process, but first I want to tell everyone still waiting for NOA2, that it will happen, yes sometimes takes too long but it does happen, just keep the faith, be strong in your relationships and support each other, it's not an easy task, but this is your best prove that your love is real, still I will be checking up on your new updates and hope for everyone to be out of this forum,

Now , can someone tell me what's the forum where they talk about NVC process, so I can keep up with all of you.

    thanks,

  9. Just finished talking to the USCIS and same #######, they said that TSC is now processing march 11th, and that my Pd is approaching but not there just yet, my replied, was that I know of many april filers had being approved, in some scenarios april's filers that file after me, and also some people that were there transferred after me, they reply was that is kind of strange as for TSC is working in march, 2013. no more to say i said thank you and hangup....

I didn't want to get upset and make things worse, so that's it for now, the waiting continues and hoping that we all get approved soon, eventhought they said they working on march.....ughhhh...

  10. Good morning everyone,

Today is the 68th day since case was transferred to TSC, the waiting is harder and harder everyday, expecting a text message, or e'mail, but nothing, I read your posts and we all understand how difficcult and how medicocre is our system, too many of us waiting to be reunited with our loved ones, but the government seems to have other priorities, hope that many of us get approved soon.

    PD April 15th

    Transferred to TSC Nov 27th

On sunday I'll be celebrating my 1st yr wedding anniversary alone.....while my wife keeps asking when will us be together.....and my answer is..wish I know..

    LG

  12. Hi everyone, I'm in the same boat as many of you, I'm an April fller, and it's been such a long waiting, my case was transferred to texas, at the end of november and we've been waiting for that second NOA, i'm approaching those 60 days and still haven heard or gotten any news about it.....just being patience, but is not easy, hope all of you start getting their approvals .........btw, who knows what comes next??......

  13. I-130 for your wife and each individual child, only had one child, I had to fill out that G-325a and that I-864. Also an I-485 for each person, I-693, G-325a, and did that optional I-765 employment and school authorization, plus all the required evidence and one big fat check. Sent the entire package to the USCIS.

One major problem we had was getting that permission from that really didn't care about his own kid biological parent to bring his daughter her. Tried to blackmail us.

Another costly item was that I-693 for each person, my health insurance wouldn't cover that and can only be done by a USCIS approved doctor. But with the USCIS, the I-693 was fee free.

    I think this was it.

thanks for the reply...anymore answer??...i need to be well informed...please...

  14. Hi everyone, I'm new here and about to start a cr1 process, just got married a month ago, mY wife is in Colombia and im here in Usa, florida, I got a response from Diana about the paper work, she explained that I have to fill ( which I did during my trip) form G325, for only my wife, not for her sons, she also told me that I have to send separate payments for her and her children, I know I have to fill form 130 for all of them, but I dont know if I have to send all the paperwork in one package or send them separate...please explain that to me since i'll be sending the package next week.

    I appreciate anyones advice.

    thanks a lot
