I am dreading the thought that the imminent Goverment sequestration is going to slow the process even more. already waiting since june, and no NOA2. God help us all!
-
mine is june 7th, and nothing yet!

I don't think it means anything more than they are behind scedule, I am also waiting for NOA2 from vermont for over 9 months. Hang in there, I know exactly how you feel.

This process is over 9 months now, and stll have not recieved NOA2, it's beginning to depress me and my wife. starting to doubt we will be reunited this year. I get even more depressed when i read that people that filed 2 months after i did have been approved. does anyone know if it is due to me filing for my wife and her son at the same time? Thanks in advance for the support of the VJ family.

VSC filed june 7th, so aggravated!
The 200 club is nothing I am currently at 358 days with no NOA2. This has truly been a test of all my faith and I hope none of you have to wait this long.
Wow, I would be so past my ability to keep my cool!

Hi everyone,
I would like to book a direct flight from Manila to JFK airport for my fiancée. Is this even possible? Any suggestions as what airlines might do this? Thanks for any help!
i believe the nearest airport would be toronto canada direct from manilia

Don't feel bad, I am going on 8 months
I have now officially hit the 5 month marker--153 days now since I received my NOA1. It is strange because so far, I knew that the average processing time is about 5 months, but now I have actually hit that 5 month marker, I feel slightly scared and worried for some reason. Please, Go Vermont Go.

I am going thru the same process, my wife is colombian, even with the fact that she was not married to the father of her son. I am told we will need a noterized statement giving permission by the birth father that he will allow his son to emigrate to the USA, I am also told that the noterized document is only valid for 60 days, so we are waiting until we get the visa package from the us embassy in Bogota. we filed june 7th, and still have not recieved DHS approved petition, now going on 8 months. from what i see i can expect another 150 days from NOA2. by the math it looks as if this process will be at least 1 year
Good luck in your process

My wife and I are trying to be Patient as well, but very frustrating. We filed 6/11 and still under initial review in the vermont service center. each month the backlog seems to grow. still i try to be patient.
