can I get the medical exams done before I receive the package from the embassy? if so what will I need to take to the doctors and lab?

Finally Both my wife and son have the I-130s approved! now on to NVC thanks god after almost 10 months i was losing patience with Vermont.

Today after almost 10 months my wife's petition was APPROVED!!!! But Our son's is still in Limbo,,,,I hope that it will come next week. Is it unusual for the mother and son petitions are not approved together?

My Problem is Not with the dream act. my problem is with DHS and why on earth did they send those applications all to Vermont service center when every major city has a immigration office, it makes to much sense to spread them out regionally. and they knew full well that it would cause massive problems doing it the way they did. They were more concerned with getting the applications in Before the election and not about what it did to all of us that are still waiting for 10 months.

So I called today, talked with a pleasent guy Matt, Said i have a cool name, Anyway, went thru all the numbers and dates, he said he was sending a request to vermont, and that yes my petitions are outside by 23 days. he put me on hold while he was generating the ticket number, then i lost my telephone connection . I guess i will have to call again tomorrow and go thru it all over again. at least i was able to speak with someone very quickly, less than 2 minutes waiting.

I have to disagree, it has been my experience that the smaller country's are well ahead of the US as far the 4G thing. many less towers and such to upgrade vs the US

Also if you go to the post office (USPS) you can send Global Express, those packages are handled by FED EX and delivered by FED Ex, it even says Fed Ex on the box, and it cost about half the price of what you would pay if you went directly to Fed Ex.

You gave me hope...we filed on the same day june 7th, same service center vermont, and same visa Cr1, but another day passed without approval. congradulations !!! hope mine comes soon.

Hello everyone,today I was wondering what would you guys think if your spouse returned your gift to the store??

Well for example in my case, my husband bought me a really nice Famous branded bag on my valentines,but it was huge on me,so I asked him if I can exchange .He said" of course"and gave me the receipt.i know it's bad,but I am now a mom, so I thought why keeping it if I can't use it? I went to the store to exchange the item.Unfortunately they don't have something I like. I love collecting all nice bags,but at that point I decided to get a store credit instead of getting something I don't like. Since I am now a mother I was thinking I can use the in-store credit towards the baby stuff. We have our Anniversary hubby bought me a flowers and a chocolate, I got him a nice wedding band that cost almost two grand. I don't want him to get anything for me,I told him prior to the celebration .

He got home and told me he felt bad because he don't get me anything,which I really don't care I wanted to spend the whole day with him though. But he said something that I felt bad quote" I don't get you anything because I am afraid you'd return it." Whoa I felt guilty now. What do you guys think if you were in my shoe.Share your thoughts.

I am in the same exact situation, except i filed on june 7th. if your case starts with EAC that meams it's at vermont service center, same as me. I know just the frustration your feeling. all we can do is wait. good luck

maybe the company that you took the job with will get her a work visa? I filed for Ir1 /Cr1 last june and my wife still is not with me yet and it will likely be another 4 months, all told maybe 13 or 14 months for a lousy visa. good luck

i don't think you can claim her if she dosen't have a social security number.

you need to have a US social security number to open a bank account here. once you have it you can do a wire transfer but it will cost money to do that, I would just open the new account and write a check to yourself and deposit it in the new account. after it clears close the old account.
