As mimolicious stated you don't have to accompany them however be prepared that there are additional processes they do upon arrival with the visas. So while you would zip through immigration the spouse will take a bit longer.

Yes they gave me a copy of the RFE dated Dec 19th.Which puts it at exactly 1 month after the case was tranferred from MSC.I guess I was hearing so many stories of people getting being brushed off instead of looking at the stats of the Jacksonville office.Their stats seem like they do a pretty good job with approval turnaround

Ok I rescheduled my infopass for this morning. What I found out was that there was an RFE sent to me on Dec 19th that I never received. The website never reflected that either.Good thing I have a folder at home with everything they are asking for.Too bad I was in a hurry when I left the house and did not think of carrying with me.The people at the jacksonville office were very helpful and fast too.Even the security guards were nice. I should have done the info pass earlier, even the ISO said that.So people get on out there and do it.You may be missing valuable info.

I have my infopass on thursday.Hopefully they can give me some answers at the local jacksonville office since I found out it was routed there in nov 2012

I filed in Oct 2012.In nov 2012 it was transferred to my local Jacksonville Florida office. Now if I am interpreting the data correctltyit actually looks like my local office is doing pretty well as far as receipts/ approvals. It's just the wait is getting a bit agonizing.I do get a little comfort in knowing there are others whose process has been going on much longer than mine.

dstrausser83 maybe we can lobby for them to put a steering wheel on their desks and that may speed up their texting ( sorry saw a person driving alongside me this morning on my weekday commute and they were texting .They had the phone on their steering wheel )

Reading this I had flashbacks of my citizenship interview some years back. The interviewer I had was sarcastic and obviously wanted to do other other things that day.I started answering the questions correctly and I got the impression that they were getting annoyed. Then he started to get really in depth with the government questions. This kept going on and then a few I could not answer. Finally he said I didn't past and well I lost it.
I told him as veteran of the US Military I had been shot at, rolled over mines and I'm still here. I looked him square in the eye and told him sternly "it's amazing what people like us have to go through because we love this great country".The expression on their face was pricless as I clearly was not the high point of their day

I am in Jacksonville and I might be one of the few that actually wish that their petition gets sent to the local field office in jax.

WHat are the pneumococcal vaccin and rotavirus?
Looked in the dictionnary, can't find it...
Pneumococcal is related to bacteria that causes pneumonia .Rotavirus causes gastro enteritis or the stomach flu i.e severe diarrhoea

I definitely agree with this. I immigrated as a teen legally with my parents in the 1980's.Back then the process was a lot different. My grandmother had petitioned for my dad andour family. It took 9 months form the day grandma filed to the day we picked up our visa from the local embassy.
Later I became a citizen whike serving in the military. It was a longer wait back then to become a citizen while serving. While a wait is expected with anything the government touches and bureacracy , I just hope it is being done fairly and we who are doing it legally and are paying taxes are not being sidelined.

I completely understand that this isn't an overnight process. I guess my concern lies in the fact that it has been almost a month and I have not received NOA1. I submitted G-1145. Also thr check has been cashed but when I call they tell me they can't find any information.
Oh , I did not realise that you did not get the NOA 1.That's strange that you submitted the G1145 and got no email or text response.I got mine approx 2 weeks after sending it in.Sorry I can't give any advice as this situation is different to mine. For $420 they better find it.

I got my NOA1 about 2 weeks after I filed. It was dated Oct 9th.I was checking every day on the website and the first day it appeared online was Dec 12th as being in initial review.Thats a whole 2 months.
