So does that mean it's already too late because it was delivered and I assume collected (Because it went from "Notice Left" to Delivered" on USPS Tracking)?

We're putting the borrowed money in tonight, Sunday, so will it be okay?

I think we should be alright, we're borrowing money from a friend until Paypal goes through. Providing they didn't attempt to cash it today (Sunday) the day of delivery, and assuming they don't work on Monday because of the holiday.

So we mailed our petition off on the 15th, USPS says it was delivered on the 17th. Now, normally I'd be fine with this because anything going quickly during this process is more than welcomed. The issue, however, is that I sent some money to my fiance via Paypal to help cover some of the filing fee. We didn't realise that PayPal has a 3-5 business day waiting period on transferring funds to a bank account. Our worry is that USCIS will attempt to cash the check before the PayPal money goes in, leaving us with an insufficient amount.

I was just wondering if anyone knew how soon they attempt to cash a check after the packet arrives at the lockbox, and what happens if there isn't enough in the person's account when they do try.

I'm hoping to be over in the US by Christmas...I didn't think it was an unrealistic goal until reading through the forums every day..now I'm not sure.

What do I do after the I-129F I sent off yesterday is approved within 3 days?

Ours arrives on the 19th, so we're pretty much with you guys because of the holiday!

Hooray, I'm pretty sure this is my first post on the site. Been around for a while just sitting back and researching before we sent ours off. Today's finally the day! Already gotten paranoid thoughts we forgot something despite checking it, double checking it, triple checking it, then checking it two more times. So us people are looking at roughly mid-August, as current estimates show, right? That's unfortunate. I'm hoping I can be over in the U.S by Christmas, I think it's a realistic goal..possibly! Anyway, rambling.
