    Hey Darnell, so not sure if this is overkill, but will calling DOS for visa status is appropriate? My wife's interview was passed on 9/16, my vacation days is going to end by next Friday. I really hope we can make it in time to fly back to State..

      ok called them this morning...they just created a case to see what happen, visa was approved and issued according to CEAC site, but no passport tracking available yet. I was told to have an answer 24-48 hours...will see.

      Really hope so...btw, going to write a full journey review soon after wife settle down.. There are things (red flags in both of us) in my wife case can be shared and hopefully useful as reference. Feel like its time to give something back to forum..and thanks man! I actually want to know you in person now, feel like can be as much helpful or more than most immigration attorney.

      Status Updated Date: 17-Sep-2013, so right after my wife interview on 9/16. Hopefully we can make it by Friday, worse case I just have to move my wife ticket till next month. Good that I booked the my wife ticket under mileage points, no penalty for making date changes....

      Thanks! well so far no status for passport: There is no status update available for the passport number submitted......Sounds like I need to make another trip back home next month...

      Ok, so I just checked, CEAC status is Issued or Your visa has been printed. But under the cgi site or ustraveldocs site, not sure what to look for. We register the pick up location, is there case id? or is that just the gzo number?

    Hi Darnell, Hope you feeling better and good luck on the upcoming interview. So just a quick question before I play back this Thursday So I got the tax transcripts for year 2010 and 2011, will still need to bring the actual w2? Not sure if i can them anymore, but saw that as requirement from the letter. Thanks!

      Hi!, I went back to China to be with my wife for 3 weeks. Just got back Sat (still recovering from Jetlag....) Anyway I am flying back again on Sep 12th... I know your is coming up soon good luck.. I actually we be staying very close by the Consulate building. Are you going be around, sure would to meet up and thank you personally. :)

    Any updates on interview? So I cant wait any longer, I am flying back to China next week...basically I have to fly back again once the interview is scheduled. Sucks, I originally planned a 6 weeks vacation, now this has to be split up.....

      Yes! just got STD P4 APP (24JUN2013) letter for Sep 16. Also just sent an email to GUZ about possible of getting an earlier date (not much expectation, but thought I still try....)

    k, I am so frustrated. I had to re scanned my I864 and send last friday...still waiting now...

      you mean the check list cover letter? I got that too on friday saying my netincme on i864 is blur. So I had to re scanned that form and send in. So maybe I should post this on the form, but I was calling nvc on thursday night and found out about this. So the form was immediatly send that night. I then got the offical check list letter on friday (next day). Anyway that being say, I have not got any response since the first auto response..... btw, isnt there suppose to be two auto response emai...
