ok, since nobody seems to be in this situation maybe somebody can shed a light about my next question, the case status online, how often does it get updated? lets say that my stepson green card is mailed tomorrow , will the case status update automatically to reflect that?

We sent my wife and stepson green cards back due to the recall, USCIS said it will take two weeks to come back, my wife's green card came back but my stepson's hasn't, it has been over two months now, we have called customer service but they cant tell us anything, they are third party and all they do is just that,answer call but no information, we checked the case status online and all it says is: your case was received at your local office. is anybody else going through the same problem?

There was a green card recall  to correct (resident since) date,USCIS sent the letters and envelopes for us to return my wife's and my stepson  green cards to be corrected;the letter stated the will take up to two weeks for them to return them corrected,my wife's green card came back but my stepson's has not, it has been 2 month already and nothing; We have called customers service but they can not tell us anything because they are a third party hired by USCIS (useless); when we check the case status in the USCIS page it shows that is was received at my local office;has anybody here goin through the same issue? any advice about what to do next?

Hello, my father who is a permanent resident applied for my brother who was over 21 years old and illegally in the country at that time, My brother left the country before a visa was available for him, He was back in Mexico when He received the appointment letter, My brother went to interview in the American consulate in Ciudad Juarez, during the interview He was asked if He had been in USA illegally, He answered yes and was giving 10 year penalty, His 10 years is up, my question is what does he need to do? reapply and start from the beginning or would He be given a visa as soon as his paper work is processed?

Hello, I checked the status of my wife's I-751 petition and this is what it shows: Case was received at my local office, does that mean we will get an interview soon or maybe they will skip that and mail the green card?

my wife and I will be traveling out of the country, my question is: do we need to buy her airplane ticket under the name that appears on her passport or the name on the green card?

My wife just recieved this letter,5 months after the biometric appointment,the letter says it could take up to 6 months to procces the application,does it really takes this long?

I finally was able to see that USCIS has cashed the check,it took alomost three weeks,I havent recieved the NOA yet,hopefully soon

Yes I have a delivery confirmation from USPS ,my check hasnt been cashed,no notice of any kind yet

It has been over two weeks now since the day they recieved the package and I havent heard anything nor they have cashed the check,is there a phone number I can call to inquire about my package? Has anybody experienced that much delay to get a response?

I am ready to send my package so I wanted to ask again to make sure I write the check for the correct amount, $985 for k-1 applicant,85 for biometrics fees and $635 for minor son (k-2) is that correct?

is it ok for a minor child (he is 12 years old) to sign the forms required for adjustment of status or the parent has to do it? I dont see any place where the parent can sign??/

Children under 14 do not need to get biometrics. Six passport photos per person(2 for each of the 3 forms).

It's that price if the child is under 14 because they don't take fingerprints, just pics at the biometrics appt. I included 2 pics for each application: i485, i131, and i765.

How much does it cost to file I-485 for a minor child? USCIS website says a minor child filing with at least one parent pays $635 total, does that mean a child doesnt pay for biometric fees? second question, how many passport pictures I need to send for each applicant (my wife and stepson)

In summary, she doesn't need to see a CS if her overseas medical was taken within the year prior to the I-485 filing and all the required vaccinations are given and well-documented on her DS-3025.

Does she have any missing required vaccinations?

I am not sure,I remember seeing X's on different columns,not sure if every vaccine listed on that form is required

My wife came on a K1 visa,I read wonly need to fill out part 1 of the I 693 form,however that part says to go to a surgeon to get the vaccines put into the I 693 form,do I really need to do that or just attach a copy of the vaccines records to the I 693?
