We were in line for an interview on December 1st and the status changed to Interview Scheduled on April 13th. We initially sent the application in at the end of October. 

All finished! Oath ceremony was yesterday and it was awesome! There were 55 people from 36 different countries - definitely got a little emotional seeing everyone so happy to finally be a citizen.

Good luck to everyone else waiting for interviews and oaths, it'll be here before you know it!

Not sure what happened but our info seems to be missing from the list!

My husband said the interview took all of 10 minutes and it went so quickly that he can't even remember the questions he was asked (he got them all right, so I guess it doesn't really matter!). The longest part was waiting to be called back for the interview itself...he said he waited about an hour and a half after his scheduled time.

Oath is tomorrow and we'll finally be finished with all of this!

We got the new interview date today - June 2nd! So it only ended up being 10 days after the original date, not bad at all.

We mailed back in the reschedule request as soon as we got the interview letter - it was delivered yesterday. There happened to be an infopass appointment available for this morning so we snagged that just to confirm they had gotten the request (I've seen horror stories about lost requests!).  She said they had gotten  it and that it would take about 3 weeks for them to process the request and mail out a new interview date. I'm hoping that's true because it wouldn't be too much of a delay! 

Online case status changed today to interview scheduled! Hoping it's not during our trip at the end of May - anxiously waiting the letter with the date.

@burnabrenna - How does early bio work? Do you just go to the local FO and request to have biometrics done prior to the set date for bio?

Yeah, pretty much! We just went early and told them we couldn't make the appointment date so we wanted to come early to get them done. We went at about 1:00 pm since we had called and she told us to come a bit later due to most appointments being scheduled for the morning. He was in and out in 10 minutes.

Updated our entry as my husband did an early bio this week in Charlotte.

hey im a sep filer in my field office is charlotte nc. i did a early walk for FP. i when around 1pm on friday the office was empty i was done in less the 10mins they did't ask any question as why i was trying to do my FP before my APPT date. they did't even look at FP appt letter.

Perfect! Thanks so much for your insight. I tried searching on VJ for other experiences at the Charlotte office but couldn't really find any.

Updating our info as we got the NOA in the mail and the priority date was earlier than listed in the email we got. We also got the fingerprints appointment, but are going to try to do an early bio as the scheduled day isn't going to work. Does anyone have experience doing early bio in Charlotte, NC?

It's from VSC but has the local USCIS office info at the bottom.

My husband got his approval letter in the mail today. Approval date is 5/25/16! The status never updated online so this was a surprise!

Got the biometrics appt today - 9/10

Got our NOA today and the receipt date is 8/10

Just mailed ours off today to VSC.

Looks good to me. You may add affidavits and pictures, but your list is very credible already. Actually, yours are a lot more than what we have submitted. Goodluck!

We're getting everything together and ready to send off for the ROC on my husband's green card and I had a few questions.

Here is our current list of evidence:

Husband's green card

2014 joint taxes

2013 joint taxes

Deed to our house with both of our names

Home insurance with both of our names

Both of our driver's licenses showing same address of our house

Apartment lease from before we purchased our home

Apartment insurance with both of our names

Car insurance with both of our names (spanning 1 year as the previous years documents are no longer available)

Husband's life insurance showing me listed as the beneficiary

Joint bank account statements spanning back through February 2014 (we switched banks and lost the documents from Nov 2013-Feb 2014 so I'm attaching an explanation for the gap in the bank account statements)

Joint bank account statement from our bank in Canada showing both of our names on the account in March 2013

Credit card statement showing husband as authorized user on card

Power of Attorney forms from both of us

Health Care Power of Attorney forms from both of us

Advanced Directive/Living Will forms from both of us

We do not have the same health insurance as my husband's company is pretty small and therefore the insurance is ridiculously priced for an added spouse. Should I attach a letter stating the reason that we have separate health insurance plans or do you think that the other evidence is good enough?

And then as far as evidence goes, should we add anything else or does this look alright so far?

When we got married we were worried about the length of time it would take to get the marriage certificate back. I googled around and found some different forums and people stating that they called their MPP and requested assistance in expediting the process. They also suggested going onto the site and ordering the marriage certificate as soon as possible, regardless of the wait period that they say is required. We ordered a copy 2 days after we got married and also contacted the MPP for our area and told them that we needed the certificate for immigration purposes and could they help us at all. They expedited it and we got it within a week or two.

And as others have said, you definitely need the certified copy of the marriage certificate and not just the signed marriage license.

My husband POE'd on November 3rd and he received his green card November 29th. It arrived via regular mail. We never checked the website for updates or anything like that, so I'm not sure about any status changes that took place.

We're packing up everything and getting all of the necessary documents in order to ship our items via UPack and I just wanted to verify something here with people who have experience.

Do both my husband and I need to fill out a separate 3299 form if both of our stuff is in the same container? On the form there's a question about "accompanying household members", so is it alright for one of us to complete the form and list the other in that slot? I have the inventory list all completed and itemized, I just want to make sure I don't mess up this part.
