    is there any approvals lately as for CR1 from NBC

    I got my NOA2 in 66 days.. But this was a miracle. No expedites and nothing special. I am thinking they grabbed it as a training file or something. Those's of us approved before 3 months are outside the norm..... and should not be looked at as normal process. Also remember VJ's are just a small sample of the cases at the USCIS. My lawyer was actually shocked that we were approved that fast. He said he never seen a case approved before 4 months.

    We had an interview for Ankara , Turkey for June 3th .Today I got a voice message from NVC that it was a mistake and they have to give us a new date!!

    How is it possible ?!

    Sorry to hear this. Ankara has been very busy. I know one person on here that has been waiting since Jan 2013 for an interview and just got a June 3rd. That's 5 months from case complete at the NVC to his interview date.

    Can you try to get transferred to another slower Embassy? People from Iran get their choice of embassy?

    NURETTIN **** must bring the following to the visa interview:

    1· Any original documents that were requested by the NVC but were NOT submitted

    to the NVC

    1. Your P4 says all documents have been submitted

    You do not need to worry about this.

    2· The medical examination results if not submitted to the Embassy/Consulate by the

    physician - yes everyone needs

    · The correct size and number of photographs - yes everyone needs. You have already submitted to the NVC but it is best to have extra in case they are lost

    · Valid passport for all traveling applicants - yes everyone needs

    · Current police certificate for all applicants over the age of 16. - Yes

    i have to bring them

    and proofs(pictures,tickets,chatlogs) - yes this is a good idea. You want to be able to provide all proof at the interview. Not having could get you AP.

    Document Status Description

    A = Applicant must acquire this document and present it at the time of the interview.

    C = Direct inquiries to your consulate / embassy

    D = Certified document received

    F = This form is not necessary for this application.

    G = I-601A withdrawn by applicant.

    H = Photos not required for EP case.

    I = The required form is incomplete. Please ensure that a complete form is presented at

    the interview.

    O = The original document has been received and accepted as meeting post requirements.

    P = The police certificate must be requested by the applicant. If you have already

    applied for this document, no further action is required. The issuing police authority

    will send the police record directly to the appropriate US Embassy to have on hand at

    the time of the interview.

    R = The electronic DS-260 form has been submitted and reviewed.

    S = Scanned document received. The original document must be presented at the time of

    the interview.

    T = An acceptable document has been received, but a translation is required as the

    submitted document is not in English or the official language of the processing post.

    The applicant must present a certified translation at the time of the interview.

    Ohhhhh #######... I was so excited last night I didn't read all of it. :(

    It looks like you are all set,

    It is not asking for anything.

    O & Y are good.

    F's don't apply to you

    $ mean paid

    But my lawyer suggests bringing new Passport pictures and new police report.

    Also I make sure you have 2012 tax transcripts

    also he suggest having extra proof ready..... in case they ask for it............ Chat logs, Pictures, trips made to see each other.

    What is this? Did you just get this? You should have submitted everything already. I have heard that for Ankara its best to get a new Police report.

    What do all the others mean? Y, &F?

    My husband is at work so I have not seen this yet

    last 2 month they didnt work i dont know why ????

    thare were 3-4 cr1 visa applicant in february and april

    in may and probbly june more than 30 applicant

    I'm not sure why... Maybe they forgot.

    I know that I did a spreadsheet starting with Sept 2012 cases and going to the end of March 2013

    There are over 1000 case numbers still pending at the NVC with an ANK case number

    Also, On April 19, Ankara said they were waiting for the NVC to send them 351 case files.

    So I think the NVC is behind.

    Or scheduling weirdly

    I am just glad we all got an date.

    Now we can prepare for the interview.

    Congrats jdba!!!dancin5hr.gif I know you were nervous abut your interview date scheduling in Turkey. You deserve it! Good luck!

    Thanks!!!, My husband woke up an hour early just to make sure I was not joking. He was like "How do you know its June 24?... Are you sure?" .....hahahhahaha

    Then he asked why I wasn't sleeping at 1:30 am ... I assume he forgot he called and woke me.

    because my case completed 16th jan

    do u think they got nvc case number 1 jan(before 1of jan case start 2012) and case closed before 16th jan (in 15 days)

    I just know that this system is not fair.

    So I assumed the case I saw that was created Feb 6, 2013 and ready April 26, 2013 came from the NVC

    And the one that was created on March 29, 2013 and was ready April 1, 2013. I assumed was an expedite.

    I did not think about people living in Turkey and filing from there.

    Its very frustrating and confusing

    most of cae start to 2013 applied from turkey(if us citizen spouse lives more than 6 month in turkey they can apply from directly turkish consulant

    no need to uscis or nvc)

    when u apply from turkey they give in 1 month interviev date

    i know some people apply from turkey they got visa in 1-2 monts

    So you don't think the 2013's were filed from the USA?

    Cases like me filing for my husband?

    I was hoping it was a sign they had started to work on some Jan or Feb cases cray5ol.gif

    I was wondering where I could find information about how fast or slow NVC is processing k-1 visa app.

    Also I wanted to know if anyone knew how fast or slow the processing times for the Istanbul, Turkey consulate are doing for interviews or if there is a place where I can find that information?

    I don't think Istanbul processes K-1 visa. All immigrant visas are processed in Ankara

    still i am waiting :) 3month 2 weeks

    I know you have been waiting over 3 months.

    I think we should all be contacting our senators and state representatives to shed some light on the problem.

    We should not have to wait so long.

    You have been waiting 3 months that means I will have to wait maybe 5.

    That's not right.

    Base on my USPS tracking number, my IV package arrived at NVC two weeks ago. But when I call NVC, they said they have not received the IV package yet. What does this mean? Did they lose my package or something?

    They wont tell you they "received" it till they start to review it. Ours went from not receive to Complete. But it took about 2 weeks .. others have taken over 2 weeks.

    Thank you both. I wish there was a way we can get his shot records too, im sure he requires only one or two if any but sucks we wont be able to show them otherwise.

    My husband will not have his shot record when he goes either. He tried to ask his family doctor for it and she said she didn't have it and his mother doesn't have it either. I don't think Turkey keeps detailed records or at least they didn't before. Not like here.
